NEWSFLASH: NBC Investigates .....

Caught this on the news a couple of nights ago. It seems that amidst accusations of a biased media and one-sided reporting in Iraq by the President, NBC decided to investigate itself.

After hemming and hawing, the conclusion that was reached is that the President and his administration are making excuses for an unpopular war. So sayeth Andrea Mitchell.

I happened to come across ABC news last night. They did something similar. They started off saying how the Bush administration critizes the media for not doing enough good/positive stories about Iraq. So they decided to do one. They were doing a story about a sitcom aired on Iraqi TV. But during their filming of the story and shooting of the sitcom, the producers got word that the boss of them was assassinated that morning. So they ended their story saying they tried to do a positive story about Iraq, but it just doesn't seem possible.
