In an effort to reduce plastic use, New York will start fining restaurants and third-party delivery services that provide disposable utensils, soy sauce packets, and similar items without the customer requesting them.

So, who's going to police this? Well, with New York, it's entirely possible. Don't want to arrest real criminals due to social injustice so let's go after small business using plain clothes officers to stake out the dirty rotten scoundrels dishing up plasticware without being asked.

They're going to arrest the Governor, Mayor, and Attorney General? FINALLY!!

I can't see many customers complaining about too many plastic forks and napkins to the city government over this.

I guess that New York City government is going to have to pay to have "sting operations" to find the miscreants that are disobeying this edict?
