THEY don't want us lowly unwashed masses to be even close to combat effective against their State Stormtroopers come the crackdown on our rights and freedoms and individual liberties these next few months. That being said, if you are relying on a "bulletproof" vest to save you from modern rifle or carbine caliber cartridges, you're doing it wrong; really, really wrong. The idea is to avoid being shot in the first place, even just a little bit. Nevertheless, such duds should be available to the general public—those who live in most inner city areas in particular, such as innocent children just trying to grow up without being murdered by some gangbanger monster.
