Anyone who was poor could make it out of poverty all they had to do was try. The middle class was able to save and have enough money to retire at at 62-65.

But the rich fought back and since Reagan the rich have slowly been chipping away at the middle class to make themselves richer. Think about it.

They hire illegals, they get richer (spend less) and the middle class gets poorer

They send jobs overseas. The rich get richer and the American middle class suffers.

They purchased cheap shit from china and sell them at dollar stores. Kill mom and pop shops.

They gave themselves tax breaks and then cut social programs that benefit the poor and middle class.

What other ways have the rich/corporations/Republicans made the middle class poorer and rich richer.

Oh yea, they deregulate corporations to save money but those regulations sometimes are worker safety or they cut down on the payments when a corporation injures people with their products.
