New poll: Who do you blame for the Shutdown?

As passing the current continuing resolution will only serve to bring ACA premiums back to their pre-covid levels, it will do nothing to kill the ACA.
So.. you either lied, or you are talking out your ass.
Let us know.
Both.

They couldn't kill it thru legistlation so they're attempting to destroy it by making it unaffordable for millions of people.
So keeping it the same as before the Fauci Flu enhanced subsidies makes it unaffordable?

Glad you finally admit Barrycare is a scam, Chimper.

Congress has no role in providing healthcare. None.

It is not one of the very few things they are authorized to get into by the Constitution.
Wrong again, CLOWN. The ACA was passed by both houses of Congress in 2009 & signed into law by POTUS Obama. :oops8:

If you keep bleeeeeeating, you might get something right for once.

New Yougov has the breakdown. I hope this ugly shutown is over soon so that we Americans can move on without our daily lives. One party is being blamed more than the other. See below:

Donald Trump’s Support Among Middle Class Crumbling: Poll

Data from YouGov/The Economist shows that in August, 45 percent of middle-income voters polled approved of Trump while 51 percent disapproved—a net rating of –6 points. That gap widened to –11 in September (43 percent approve; 54 percent disapprove) and –13 in October (42 percent approve; 55 percent disapprove).

"President Trump has declared that he alone is in charge, and Republicans in Congress have largely let Trump do whatever he wants,"

Middle-income Americans have historically been a contested but important group for the Republican Party. In the 2024 presidential election, Trump won 52 percent of the vote among those earning $50,000-$100,000 compared to Kamala Harris' 46%, flipping support from a group that had been more favorable to the Democrats in the 2020 election—when Trump won 46% of their votes compared to Joe Biden's 54%.

The latest polls suggest support from middle-income earners may be slipping away from the Republican Party as the four-week government shutdown continues.

Quote the Constitution, Chimper.

It's the Trump shutdown & it's his Trump Party goons & asseaters who are also responsible for the shutdown. Trump, your dear "leader" has not done a thing to resove this because he doesn't give a **** that the Federal Govt., that he's been wrecking since January, is shut down. He's not lifting a finger to help anyone who is affected by this because he doesn't give a **** about them.

This shutdown is HIS fault because he WANTS a shutdown.

Summary

The program activities of most federal agencies are generally funded on an annual basis through the enactment of regular appropriations acts. When those annual appropriations acts are not enacted by the beginning of the fiscal year (October 1), one or more continuing appropriations acts (commonly known as continuing resolutions or CRs) may be enacted to provide temporary funding to continue certain programs and activities until action on the regular appropriations acts is completed.

There are six main features of CRs.

First, CRs have provided funding for certain activities (coverage), which are typically specified with reference to the prior fiscal year's appropriations acts.

Second, CRs provide budget authority for a specified duration of time. This duration may be as short as a single day or as long as the remainder of the fiscal year.

Third, in recent practice, CRs have typically provided funds based on an overall funding rate rather than in specified amounts.

Fourth, the use of budget authority provided in the CR has been prohibited for new activities not funded in the previous fiscal year.

Fifth, the duration and amount of funds in the CR, and purposes for which they may be used for specified activities, may be adjusted through anomalies.

Sixth, legislative provisions—which create, amend, or extend other laws—have been included in some instances.
