They're telling you this is about the ACA subsidies; they hide the fact there's about 1.2T in additional spending beyond the ACA premium subsidies, including undoing specking cuts just enacted enacted by the BBB, as well as restrictions on how the President can spend and choose not to spend appropriated funds.

There's ZERO reason the GOP should give into these terrorists.

It is all about killing the Affordable Care Act, no matter how many working Americans lose their healthcare, or how many legit contractors, farmers, small business owners paying their healthcare through the marketplace, pay through the nose. Killing it, wouldn't even be good for the insurance companies.

They couldn't kill it thru legistlation so they're attempting to destroy it by making it unaffordable for millions of people. Trump & his goons are owned by the health insurance industry who are hell bent on destroying ACA provisions such as coverage for pre-existing conditions, mandatory vaccine coverage & preventive health care.

Trump & his GOP goons have not come forward with a single alternative to the ACA since the the act was signed into law. Not one.

Runaway medical expenses are a problem, not otherwise addressed in Congress. I look at the Affordable Care Act as a stopgap measure at best, but certainly not one that will be addressed by the Republicans in power at the moment. Congress is very big on kicking the problem cans down the road, to be somebody else's political boondoggle.

Congress has no role in providing healthcare. None.

It is not one of the very few things they are authorized to get into by the Constitution.
