Smart lawyers can find ways around that. Including, I suspect, takin the entire idea of a "blanket pardon" all the way to SCOTUS. It appears Trump is more interested in prosecuting his rape victims and pictures of seashells than breaking Biden's BS pardon.
Is it because Trump needs to do it for his own sons?

Not a lawyer, but the article below indicates the pardon only covered somethings, not all things. If Hunter is as dirty as the MAGAts claim, then there will be something to prosecute him on or to get around the pardon. Again, it seems Trump isn't interested in doing so. Why?

The United States is a republic with a Constitution. I know MAGA traitors want to replace our government with an authoritarian state and "restore" the Constitution to only the 10 Amendments, but I doubt that will happen no matter how many times they attack the Capitol or how many concentration camps they set up in the deserts and swamps of America.

In a civil war, the white nationalists will lose because most Americans like our freedoms.
