You increase it by 50% in NM and businesses will either automate or close. Full stop. And I added to it. The guy you voted for wants to increase it to $15. Buttress that with the rise in gas prices and higher taxes and companies will be going out of business.I did not bring it up. Did you fail to read the thread article(s) posted by the OP?The Keystone pipeline is irrelevant to NM--why even bring it up. Gas and oil leases that were closed on federal land by Biden's XO however affect NM tremendously. The natural gas wells in Lovington, New Mexico were not shut down. Keystone pipeline carries crude to refineries, not natural gas, and like I said a (and you can verify with the Keystone pipeline map) the Keystone pipeline is hundreds of miles away and does not get near that state. How about the natural gas dependent industries in and about Lovington, NM. They won't be earning much if there is no gas.Give us some names, Azog. What small businesses in New Mexico are depending on the Keystone Pipeline and how many people do they employ? You don’t have any friend and especially not in New Mexico where he is about to bankrupt multiple small businesses. New Mexico Voted for Biden; Now Regrets Oil, Gas Suspension (breitbart.com)

The State of New Mexico voted for Joe Biden in November, sending its five electoral votes to the Democratic candidate. Yet today the state is alarmed by newly-inaugurated President Biden’s 60-day suspension of oil and gas leasing.
As Breitbart News reported, Biden’s call during the campaign to “transition [away] from the oil industry” caused alarm in New Mexico, leading then-Rep. Xochitl Torres Small (D-NM) to distance herself from Biden’s position. She would go on to lose to Republican Yvette Herrell in the race to represent the state’s second congressional district. As Breitbart News noted at the time, New Mexico is “among the top ten energy-producing states in the U.S. It has 7% of U.S. oil reserves and is the third-largest oil-producing state, enjoying rapid growth in recent years.” Yet the state voted for Biden, regardless.
Today, many are expressing regret, as the Associated Press reported Jan. 22:
Comment:
Anyone in the fossil fuel industry should know that China Joey Xi is coming after their jobs. If they voted for him, they should wear it and not gripe and moan.
Amazingly, "everyday Democrat Sheep" think that their leaders would never do anything to hurt THEM. Well, they are about to learn the hard truth with each one of them that loses their job, and every time they go to the gas pump, turn on the lights in their homes and heat their homes.
Then there's the rise in taxes he's proposing:

I have friends in New Mexico. They're THRILLED with Biden. Breitbart on the other hands is well:
- Overall, we rate Breitbart Questionable based on extreme right-wing bias, the publication of conspiracy theories and propaganda as well as numerous false claims.

First off, every time the minimum wage has been raised, unemployment goes DOWN, not up, and businesses don't close as a result. As a business consultant, I would have expect you to know this.
I remember you fools saying something similar about gas prices under Obama, how he wanted to raise the gas prices, and has prices went DOWN under Obama. Biden isn't responsible for the gas price increases. They're the result of OPEC reducing production last year, and refusing to increase it back to pre-pandemic levels this year.
Gas prices have jumped to yet another multi-month high as crude oil prices rise amidst perceived improvement in the COVID-19 pandemic, which continues to pump prices up as demand shows renewed signs of recovery," said Patrick DeHaan, head of petroleum analysis for GasBuddy.

Biden isn't raising taxes on small businesses or low income families. Try reading his platform to help you appear less uninformed.
Care to continue to display your abject ignorance on everything to do with the economy, business regulation, and investment, or would you like to go another round.
We've been hearing this for the past 40 years, and not once in the 10 times that MW has been raised has any such thing happened. All you're doing is parrotting Republican lies about the economy. Furthermore, in nations where the minimum wage is actually $15 per hour, or more, none of what you're predicting will happen, is happening.
Everything that Republicans have told you about worker wages is a lie. Nations with higher minimum wages have healthier economies, higher employment, and a growing middle class, none of which is happening in the USA.
