Customers have a choice as always and during a pandemic money is tight. Customers don’t have to complain or boycott they can just go elsewhere and hence small businesses die out and giant chains remain.So what, even the dollar menu won't double even if the minimum wage does. Your customers will understand that it is a statutory requirement if you pass on costs to the consumer.Again, increase labor costs by 50% and you’re sunk unless you lay people off or raise prices.
