Not long ago there was a town in Canada (I believe) who didn’t want to host a gay pride celebration (displaying the flag or something). They were sued by the activists and were fined.

To me, it just seems arbitrary and authoritarian to require a community to celebrate every fringe religion some activists wishes to impose upon them. It also seems intolerant for someone to impose their beliefs on the celebration of someone else’s. If satanist was equal representation, then why not celebrate one of their own holidays rather than interfering with someone else’s?
