New Hampshire capital includes Satanic symbol as part of their holiday display ‘to avoid litigation’

“Allowed” is a nice word. Try “mandated”. You want to mandate religious representation. You are the fascist who tells communities what religions they are required to celebrate.
From your article:

“The city explained that under the First Amendment, and to avoid litigation, Concord had to choose whether to ban all holiday displays installed by other groups or allow the TST display.”

Also from your article:

"The Satanic Temple has been making requests to install its monuments at holiday displays as part of a show of unity and religious pluralism," the city said. When excluded in locations throughout the country, TST has both threatened and brought lawsuits under the First Amendment, the post noted.

So, to summarize, The Satanic Temple made requests to be included along with the other holiday displays. They were then allowed to display their stuff along with the others.

Property of the people.

So if the people want their religion displayed alongside displays from others, they get to as well.

What’s the issue here? Apparently the people, to you, means only the people who worship your sky daddy. What about the others? They’re the people too.
No. That is democracy. If the people of Hamtramck MI want to decorate their town with Islamic representations, but the federal government tells them they must also celebrate Hanukkah, that is not religious freedom. In democracy the majority rules, not the minority.

The federal government isn’t telling them that they must also celebrate Hanukkah, Satanism, or Pastafarianism. That request would need to come from the people.

If the people want Hanukkah or the Tenets of Satanism posted alongside the other religious displays, then they should be allowed to.

What Satanic Temple holiday are they celebrating?

“Request”? So the government is obligated to impose the requests of individuals upon democracy?

Why do you oppose allowing a community to worship as they choose? The community of Hamtramck MI want to celebrate Islam. Why would you force them to host a Scientology display? Because someone requested it?

How about a community that doesn’t want to celebrate religious tradition. Should they be forced to host religious representations?

So you would support the 10 commandments being displayed year round?
Right next to the Tenets of Satanism and the Pastafarian Commandments. Sure. Fine with me.

Is that cool with you or are you looking for special treatment again for your sky daddy?

What the fuck are you talking about?

The requests are coming from the people, not the government.
Yes, but you are defining “the people” as a minority. The actual democracy “the people” is a majority.

have you always hated liberty and equality?

I’m defining the people as anyone in that community.

You should probably look up the 1st Amendment. Your sky daddy doesn’t get special treatment because more people believe in him. Similarly, free speech isn’t limited just because the majority of people find certain language offensive.

Ok, so you and a bunch of your faggy atheist bros establish a town. Do you accept the federal government mandating you have to display the baby Jesus? Why? Why are you such a cuck? Does your community mean anything to you?

Just say it. Say you want the federal government to be your daddy. You can take that dictate, all of it.

You keep saying the word mandate. I just showed you, with your own fucking article, that the people requested their religion to be displayed and were then allowed to be displayed.

How are you not getting this?

If I establish a town with lots of atheists, and some Christians want to put up a baby Jesus display in a public area, either all religious displays are allowed there or none are allowed. Simple.

And no one is stopping you from being a meaningless meat puppet. Your Godless void of an existence is freely enjoyed by yourself. I guess it’s religious fragility that makes folks like you believe your religion should be universally accepted as the default.

Feel better now?

I think you’re just upset that your sky daddy isn’t getting the special treatment you think he deserves, lol.

“The people” is not just some random person. In a democracy “the people” is the majority. That is what the phrase “the people” comes from and means. You trying to suggest some emo-pedo protesting Christianity is “the people” is ridiculous.
