The mainstream media, butthurt Bernie supporters and right-wing nuts are peddling a report claiming that a man was appointed to a State Department board without having the necessary qualifications.
The insinuation is that Hillary told the guy, "Give me some money and I'll give you a board position even though you're not qualified", or something similar.
But it turns out Rajiv Fernando did have good qualifications for the position.
ISAB member (Brigadier General Stephen Cheney, with over 30 years experience in the Marines) just praised Fernando, calling his expertise "a great asset to our national security":

In a separate report, Fernando is said to have served for national security-related boards for the Brooking Institute and for the American Security Project: Conservative Media Run With Faulty ABC Report To Allege Hillary Clinton “Sold A Seat” On An Intelligence Advisory Board
