Maybe you should have given the bronzes back to Nigeria and not Kenya.No. The experiences Germany made when we "gave back" the Benin Bronces to Kenia showed to me that all this ideas are totally stupid. We paid a lot of money so that criminals from Africa had been able to plunder public museums. The effect to give back the Benim Bronzes had been the same as to throw them directly into the waste paper baskets of corrupt African mafiosi who had been descendents of the Black slave traders who got now "back" the heritage of the slaves they sold to America. All this Benim sculpture are in private hands now and no one is able to study this cultural heritage any longer.

Lagos is as accessible as London if you want to see them.Whatever - You are right. Bneiem anyway eosts hjnit any linger. But this changes nothing to the fact that no one of all the educted idiots on this planet likes to see this disaster. The justice they dream of is on the side of god - and not on the side of museums who take care for the cultural heritage of the world.
