Okay, admittedly I am late to this show, especially when you consider that this was the first original show Netflix ran. And now I have less that thirty days to watch three seasons (this shouldn't be too difficult, it's only 24 episodes). I am three episodes deep and I have to say, this show is a delight...

Frank Tagliano (Steven Van Zandt) is a former New York mobster who, after testifying in a trial in the United States, joins the witness-protection program. Intrigued by the place after watching the Winter Olympics in 1994, he is relocated to Lillehammer in Norway. The transition from being a feared and respected gangster in New York to becoming an unemployed immigrant in Norway, is not simple..

Van Zandt is very good, even though he's essentially riffing on his Silvio Dante role from The Sopranos.

He was so freakin' great in the Sopranos, I may check that out. Thanks.

Lillyhammer is an awesome show. Unfortunately the cost of producing the show was more than the audience it attracted.
There are no bad episodes, it stayed good till it ended.

Thanks, that's good to know. Truly.
