The report's title claims to reference the period from 16 February 2024 to 5 April 2024, a period of 38 days which would mean 380 children dead from starvation in that period, along with an unreported number of adults.

The reference (#67) leads to an article of 5 January 2024 by World Food Programme titled Preventing Famine and Deadly Disease Requires Faster, Safer Aid Access and More Supply Routes. This article neither makes the claim stated, nor provides a source for the claim. It appears that Ms. Albanese made it up whole cloth. Interestingly, while the UN report cites the blockade as the source of the (faked) starvation, the article had this to say: “People in Gaza risk dying of hunger just miles from trucks filled with food,” said WFP Executive Director Cindy McCain, suggesting that the problem was not the supply of aid, but its distribution.

And wait, did 380 children die of starvation during this time period? And presumably more in the ensuing months. No. Not even Hamas suggests that there are more than a small number of deaths where malnutrition is a contributing factor.
