Negotiations Have Ended

So what happens now? Ground troops?

For the 3rd time in 40 years (all under GOP presidents) we're going to go to war in the middle east. How'd the first 2 turn out?
Stop the pointless melodrama. We clear the straits and the mullocrats go screw.

//Iran wont agree to common sense. They are holding out with no leverage//

Vice President JD Vance held a press conference in Islamabad on Saturday evening, confirming that the United States and Iran have failed to reach a final agreement following intense, direct negotiations.
After more than 21 hours of talks mediated in Pakistan, the highest-level direct U.S.-Iran negotiations since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Vance stated unequivocally that the Iranian regime refused to accept America’s core demands and red lines.

“We’ve been at it now for 21 hours, and we’ve had a number of substantive discussions with the Iranians. That’s the good news,” Vance said. “The bad news is that we have not reached an agreement. And I think that’s bad news for Iran much more than it’s bad news for the United States of America.”

No, I think that Iran has leverage.

As I said before, Iran is not going to agree to any terms. Their leverage is the oil and the straits of Hormuz. They know that Trump is desperate for them to be reopened, so as to do as little to the world economy as possible. But with Iran not agreeing, it helps keep oil prices high, thus helping to tank the world economy and GOP success in the midterms.

Iran also knows that the US does not have the political will to send ground forces in to finish the job, so they can maintain their position indefinitely.

Trump wants to open the straight of Hormuz...when it was open before the war started. Crazy, am I right? :auiqs.jpg:
Trump wanted to prevent your mullocrat heroes from developing nukes, like presidents before him who did basically nothing.

The goal is achieved.

Crazy, right?

And gas in the US is up over $4 a gallon after "winning". Could you imagine how much higher it would have been if we lost or (better idea) didn't fight at all?

SHUP you know it was $3.50 out west doing nothing mostly since the Corpase days.

Na. I disagree. The goal is far from achieved. 47 years of constant war in the middle east is enough.

If you consider the power structure backing the IRGC, then you must understand that it is the middle-eastern arm of the Russian/Chinese-Communist conglomeration.

I dislike any war because all life is precious. But there is no other nation on Earth that can lift tyranny from the backs of the good people of Persia. Did you or did you not observe that the IRGC is continuing to slaughter political opponents even today?

I heard the Green Mountain Boys out practicing the other day. They are one man down, and the silence from the missing F-35 was harder to bear than the deafening roar of their engines. A reminder that freedom is not free.

JD Vance just announced that the ceasefire talks are over with no success on an agreement with Iran.

Earlier, it was reported that the U.S. has managed to put some Navy ships (destroyers) in the strait to start clearing mines.

If we are not attacked, I think the two-week ceasefire should hold, and hopefully, Iran will resume negotiations before the two-week ceasefire expires.

Compromise with jihadi’s is impossible

We should keep pounding them till they fall

Good. The vermin wouldn't have kept their word anyway. Now, time to shut down the supplies coming in from Turkey, Afghanistan, and elsewhere, and keep hammering at those IRG bases and depots.

Both proven to be worthless as 'allies', and incompetent. They are too corrupt to run anything but gangs of bullies and intimidating tiny countries on their borders. Europe wants to go Muslim, so it's no longer a player any more.

There was no chance we would lose despite your Pom Pom flailing for your mullocrats.

Iran is largely third world. The mullocrats with nukes is like children playing with matches.
