Her objective as president was to give opportunities to blacks over whites, regardless of qualifications. She outlined it in her application for the position, and making Harvard more “diverse” is more important than academics.
And again, given that 42% of Harvard admissions were for Athletics, Donors, Legacies and Children of Staff, talking about "Qualifications" is kind of besides the point.
Now, if you want admissions to be based on SAT scores and GPA alone, you will run into some other problems.
On GPA, my HS GPA was around a B+. Not terribly impressive, except it was a pretty elite High School. Four Chicago Mayors attended it, as well as a lot of other luminaries. Had I attended a CPS school at the time, it would have been an A+ average.
For SAT scores, how do you compensate for those people who can afford SAT Tutors and coaches? It seems like (in addition to the racial bias of the SAT I previously mentioned) that this is also a privilege perpetuation system.
And watch out. I have a suspicion that Obama is going to try to sneak his wife in as the Democrat candidate, waiting until the last possible moment so as not to give the opposition sufficient time to reveal her shortcomings. She has the combo that Democrats seem to treasure above all else - blackness + femaleness - and if she wins, you can be sure that her main objective will be to “equitize” blacks at the expense of whites. Any idea who you’ll vote for if the woman who was never proud of her country until a black become president becomes the nominee?
Wow, I know that terrifies you because Michelle Obama is well-liked, except for those racist douche-noodles who keep posting pictures of her as a Wookie.
Given your side nominates idiots like Quayle, Bush Jr., Palin and Trump, you really don't get to complain.
