The Spurs have a magic weapon, and will prevail.

God I hope so. I hate to see a repeat. Then next year I'll root against Wemby but this year I want to see him do it.

What the F is going on? I turned off the NY Cleveland game thinking Cleveland won and it turns out NY won in overtime? Boy did I miss a good one huh? I'm actually glad Cleveland lost. I went to bed thinking they pulled off the upset and that they were going to go to the finals. I thought, man, if the Piston's could have just won game 7 it could be us up 1 to 0 against NY.

I need to watch the 4th quarter and overtime of last nights game. Did Harden do well?

There was a lid on the Cavs backet! It made no sense! I kept turning away only to come back seeing a turnover, fast-breaks, & quick play by the lowly Knicks! All of a sudden, they're on a hot streak & looking like favorites! :dunno: :oops::D
The shots stopped falling and the Cavs did a team choke including the coach. The Knicks Bridges doesn't get enough credit. I hated it when the Suns traded him, he is a great defender and a 4th quarter stud. Those guys are gold in the NBA.

I was hoping James Harden would pull a Harden against the Piston's in game 7 but he waited till game 1 of the Eastern conference finals to pull it this year.

James Harden with a game high +31 in the Game 7 blowout over the Pistons

James Harden recorded 15 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block in 42 minutes during the Cleveland Cavaliers' 115-104 overtime loss to the New York Knicks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals. He shot 5-of-16 from the field, including 1-of-8 from three-point range.

I’m so glad James Harden is on the Cleveland Cavaliers. He always lets his teams down. He always becomes the reason his team loses. Of course he also wins you a couple games but it takes 4 to win a best of 7.

I just don’t want to jinx the pistons. It’s going to Cleveland we need to win one in Cleveland

James Harden pulled a Harden in game 7 but his team still won

Game 7 of the 2026 Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Detroit Pistons, James Harden scored 9 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, and dished out 6 assists. Playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Harden struggled heavily from the field but helped guide his team to a dominant 125-94 blowout victory.

Did Harden score 31 points in game 7 or is this right?

My prediction that the Knicks are winning it all still stands.
No way. But then I didn't think the Spurs had a chance and they are up 1 to nothing.

And I didn't think Cleveland had a chance and they almost won last night.

My prediction is Cleveland wins the next one in MSG and then 2 at home. They'll be up 3 to 1 and maybe the Knicks win game 5.

I think we sweep Cleveland, and beat the spurs in 6. I refuse to believe the Knicks will lose.

Following online at NBA.com, Thunder up by 5 with about a minute to go in the 4th.

The Knicks get crushed by whomever comes out of the west. Unless SGA or Wemby gets hurt in the process of winning. LeBron will be a Knick next year......

Google says he scored 31 in game 7 against the Pistons. That's Harden, he can look great one game and disappear in the next one. It seems to happen more often in the playoffs.

Is this why the Spurs lost?

It was a big factor, but even without Fox and Harper they pushed OKC right to the final 2 minutes. Christ SGA must have hit the deck 30 times tonight on shots, diving for balls, bump fouls. It's not all flopping the dude is always laying on the floor!

Holmgren and Caruso stepped up tonight, SGA is a back to back MVP and he has got one of the smoothest jump shots I've ever seen. They are going to need more from Jalen Williams. 4 points.

Outscored by the other Jaylin Williams, who had 6.

You never know right? It might be a good match up for NY. But it does seem like the Western Conference Finals is the finals and the East is playing for 2nd place. The Knicks are sloppy. Karl Anthony Towns seems like the kind of superstar that won't ever get it done. Too slow. Good, maybe great, but not as good as the guys on OKC or Spurs. Like Patrick Ewing, Charles Oakley, Mark Jackson, John Starks. That was a good team. Like this NY team we see today. I haven't seen a Knicks team this good since 1990. I would be very happy if NY won it all, but they won't.

I will be happy for any team just not OKC. I don't want to see a repeat. I also don't HATE them. I just don't want to see one team dominate for more than 1 year. Bucks, Celtics, Denver all one and done. I'm fine with that. Gianni, Taytum and Jokic deserve rings. So does SGA. I just don't want to see anyone rack up rings like Lebron or Curry. I don't want any potential GOATS to catch Jordan. Kobe didn't, Lebron hasn't yet. Wemby might. We may be looking at the next Tim Duncan only better. Once Wemby wins one, it'll be interesting how many more he will win after that. He reminds me of Kareem Abdul Jabbar who also has 6.

I predict Wemby is the next GOAT. Lebron had like a minute he was possibly the GOAT I'm glad to see the next GOAT is already in the league.

Strongly disagree. The Spurs and the Thunder are going to wear each other out and the Knicks are taking the trophy. Book it.
