NBA playoffs

Durant missed another game, and not having Fred VanVleet is killing Houston, they don't have a good point guard out there on the floor. The Lakers are missing both Reeves and Luka, so it kind of evens things out, I'm not so sure Durant is going to lead any team on his own, he needs a strong supporting cast like he had at GS. He has failed everywhere else.

I love Peacock. It's cheap and they had the Olympics, they have almost daily NBA and MLB games. They had the Masters. Plus they have Alfred Hitchcock Presents and Perry Mason.

Orlando is my adopted team I'm rooting for because the Warriors and Kings are terrible. It's like $11/month for Peacock.

it is on NBC, but Peacock is NBC's streaming service. I don't have cable, just Peacock and Paramount+ for a total of about $20/month.

Peacock is streaming the Laker-Rocket game tonight and the Magic-Piston game tomorrow, plus they give me NFL Sunday Night Football and daily MLB games, and the World Series. Paramount+ gives me March Madness games, AFC NFL games and a few MMA fights, plus a college football game every Saturday.

Lakers are currently beating the Rockets with no star players other than old man LeBron

I find myself rooting for the Lakers. It's more fun to see Lebron playing against whoever they play in the next round. Rockets aren't ready. Hope they get Reeves and Luca back.

What's wrong with my Pistons? I never believed in this team. Even though they won the East they never won me over. I didn't feel about them the way I did Rip, Chauncey, Ben, Sheed and Prince.

But they should tie it up tonight and take home court back. They SHOULD win the series.

I think the Spurs are the team to beat. I don't know what the opposite of "showcasing" a player is, but that's what is happening with Wemby. His impact is only allowed to shine on occasions, but is often minimized.

In the playoffs he will play as many minutes as it takes to win each series.

He is a "monster" talent, as impactful as Chamberlain and Jordan in their prime.

Mark my word.

IF, they upset OKC and win the West, that would be amazing. The kid would have won it 1 or 2 years than most of us thought he'd do it. Because he will be in the Western finals or better every year the same way Lebron was. What a weapon. Makes everyone else better. Most assists, shooting percentages, blocked shots, wow.

I wish golden state was good. Curry shooting from the outside while Wemby owns the inside.

And he even shot a 3 I saw on the highlights. So Wemby has it all.

The Lakers let their guard down one game cause they got this. That can dangerous to do but to be expected. Plus Houston didn't want to get swept.

Does prolonging the series give Luca and Reeves more time to come back? If they finish in 4 games does the next round come quicker or do you just get fewer days to rest?

Detroit won a lot of games when that ONE guy was out. We'll see!

Anthony Edwards out for a couple weeks with a hyper-extended knee. DiVincenzo is out for the playoffs with a torn ACL. Minnesota is going to get past Denver, as they have no defense, but it might be tough to advance much farther missing those two.
