Personally, I was too young to be drafted.

However, most guys of that age group didn't get drafted. No, they didn't take everyone in any sense of the word. None of my male cousins of that age where drafted although 1 went into the National Guard.

/----/ BTW, if you ever went for a draft pre-induction physical, you'd know you couldn't just make up medical conditions. They didn't take your word or that of an outside doctor. They do their own testing, and there is a reason they rejected anyone with heel spurs as well as other ailments gong back to WWII. After the draft was instituted in 1940, not all of the young men who registered were accepted into the service. Thirty percent of registrants across America were rejected for physical defects. The 4-F classification was given primarily for muscular and bone malformations, hearing or circulatory ailments, mental deficiency or disease, hernias, and syphilis. There were ramifications when a man got that classification.

/——/ I graduated HS in 1969 and went for pre induction in 1971. I had 80% hearing loss in my left ear from the measles as a kid (no vaccines back in 1958) I also had a 20% loss in my right ear. I also needed a spinal operation. The Army and Navy said don’t call us we’ll call you. By 72 the democRATs withdrew funding and Nixon brought the troops home.

People are going to vote for President Trump next year regardless of their feeling on this.

People like working and making money, they don't want "medicare for all" which is really medicare for none. They don't want any "new Green Deal". Living in poverty, without weapons in a nation with open borders and Illegals are treated like kings, isn't what most people want.
