I'll give you an example of how credit cards and debit cards are required. I am traveling on Saturday to my college football game.

My daughter bought the tickets online with a credit card. How would you do that with cash?

I made a hotel reservation for the night of the game, online with a credit card because it is required for a reservation, whether you pay for it in cash upon arrival. How would you do that with cash?

We will be parking in a parking garage in the downtown area. All of the parking vendors have gone to card only because they do not want to have that much cash lying around. How would you park if you only had cash?

Most restaurants are using kiosks or card stations on their registers for you to use cards because cash slows down the transaction by about triple and they don't have to make change.
