"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
This is the Oath of Office every President takes when they are sworn in. President Biden took this oath. He swore an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution. He swore to protect the Constitutional Rights, the freedom the Constitution provides every American citizen. He lied.
President and Democrats prefer an Oligarchy, a form of power structure in which power rests with a small number of people, specifically DEMOCRATS.
President Biden recently made this perfectly clear, that he does not care what Rights and freedom the Constitution affords American citizens when those freedoms conflict with Marxist/Socialist ideology and get in the way of their agenda:
Biden says cops and other first responders SHOULD be fired for not getting the vaccine and mocks people who use 'freedom' as a defense for refusing a shot during CNN town hall
President Biden unleashed his anger at people refusing vaccination on Thursday. During a CNN town hall, he said it was right that emergency responders were fired if they would not get vaccinated against COVID-19.
President Biden's COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate is Un-Constitutional, as in 'ILLEGAL'; however, as THE top authoritarian in the Democrat Party's Oligarchy, Biden does not care and demands compliance.
Biden put this on full display at the CNN Town Hall where he OPENLY MOCKED Americans who are defying his illegal, Un-Constitutional mandate.
'Mandates are working.'
- President Biden
1. Again, Vaccine Mandates are ILLEGAL and UN-CONSTITUTIONAL
2. The Mandates are not working to get people vaccinated. The extortion and punishment for not complying with Biden's illegal mandate is working...with SOME Americans. Others, not so much.
Biden wants unilateral compliance with his Un-Constitutional, illegal vaccine mandate.
- He doesn't want to hear anyone cite their Constitutional right NOT to get the vaccines.
- He doesn't want to hear, 'My Body, MY Choice' unless it deals with abortions.
- He doesn't want to follow the science and hear about Natural Immunity.
- He doesn't want to hear how being vaccinated is a decision to be madeby a person and their doctor

Biden defended vaccine mandates during a CNN town hall on Thursday and ridiculed people who complained their freedom was being infringed.

It's another example of the corruption and the failure of government in general.
Politicians are supposed to represent all people, not just those that voted for them. It's not that way anymore. We are so divided now that its "us vs them" and now even our politicians are doing it. They are as divided and partisan as we are.
Our system of government and the whole election process is a failure, because we let ourselves be overcome with hate and partisanship, ON BOTH SIDES.
It truly is not a lie anymore to say that your vote does not count, if your side doesn't win the election, and its sad that it has to be said like that, but it's true. If you have the misfortune of being on the losing side, then its sit down and shut up and you have to just take the other sides agenda for 4 or 8 years and hope that at that time, your side can win so you can get some of the things you wanted.
Thats just pathetic honestly, that we are to a point where our elected officials are going to operate on "their agenda", and "we are going to do what we want, and not consider what you want"..again..ON BOTH SIDES.
When we elect people, they are supposed to represent everyone, even those that voted for the other candidate. We are a far cry from that now. Unless people have a change of heart and start working toward a common good, and make compromises, on both sides, I think it's just going to keep getting worse and worse.
Am I misunderstanding the situation? Am I being melodramatic?
Let me just say, and I'd bet many if you will agree with me on this but wouldn't say it out loud, or maybe not. Our government is a failure, our system of government is a failure. The way things are now, can't work, it's impossible, and it was never meant to be like this. We are too many people with too many ideas and backgrounds for one government to make everyone happy, and by default, that means that there will be many people who are unhappy.
Some say to say that is unpatriotic. The first step of solving a problem is admitting you have a problem, well, Houston, we have a problem. Recognizing the flaws in our system of government is probably the most patriotic thing one could do, as opposed to "go along to get along" and just living in status quo.
The U.S. is a great country, but it could be miles better. Its not better because we don't know what the hell we want, and we are always at each other's throats. Again, government can't please everyone.....and it was never designed to.
Some say the founding fathers could have never seen the future and how things are now. The genius of the constitution is, they didn't have to. Our country was founded on a document that created a LIMITED government, one that took care of the basic essentials, and even provided a way to ammend itself should those essentials need to change. It laid out 18 specific duties that were to be the focus of the federal government, no more, no less. Everything else was to be managed on a local level, from state and local government. It was never intended for the federal government to be this big, and have it's hands in so many different things, because not everyone agrees on what things the federal government should do, so, the founders wrote a document to give the federal government a power that everyone could agree on. Perhaps the founding fathers were thinking of the future after all.
We can't keep going like this. It's just doomed for failure. The only way to get back to civility is to return to the limited government model. If you want something other than that, then petition your state government for it, but we can't keep going the way we are, with a "shove it down your throat" approach. That never works for anyone.
Anyway, sorry about that, just my little tangent.
