National constitutional carry bill heading to Congress

The Supremes say states can regulate and in some cases such as full auto machine guns. Knowing the speeder a cop is pulling over at midnight in the middle of nowhere, is a gun carrier, simply by running the license plate, sounds reasonable to me.
In Arizona, cops just assume all contacts are armed. It's often one of the first questions they ask in a traffic stop. On the rare occasions I have contact with a cop, the first thing I say is that I have a CCL and then I tell him or her if I am carrying at that moment. It lowers everyone's stress levels. Anytime I have every had contact with a cop in my life I have made it my objective to reduce stress levels.

The purpose of this seems more about the Rights desire to carry guns into schools (maybe teaching that being gay is natural), or into court houses (where people my be being prosecuted for trying to over turn an election with fraudulent electors) or say, at a Capitol building (where they're certifying a vote you're really emotional about)....
We can already do it with relative impunity, unless a location has metal detectors carrying a undisclosed and concealed firearm is easy. We generally don't because we are law-abiding citizens.

Probably right about Arizona, as your state is #7 as far as most law enforcement killed in the line of duty, vs being 14th as far as state population.
Here, if permit holding, we are required to give both license and permit to an officer at a traffic stop, and let them know if we are carrying. They usually don't want to see it, but will ask where it is, and instruct not to touch it. I have only been stopped once, since permitted.

If it’s stolen from your rig you should pay some legal price ( only fair )
Not if the rig was locked. That counts as the firearm being properly secured. My CCL instructor covered that but recommended having a lockbox or car safe just to go one better and protect the pistol from being stolen. Just locking up the car was legally considered enough, but then if it was stolen you had to replace the pistol.

Two things triggered, I never help the cops and I own dogs :itsok:
If you refuse to help the cops you are stupid. They are there is protect society in general and you in the abstract. I don't know about the bobbies, but an American cop will stop a crime in the rare event he actually witnesses one in progress.

Most of the people killing cops are illegal aliens, drug smugglers or other criminals. Arizona has a lot of areas where there is only one cop patrolling thousands of square miles and backup is hours away. Drug and illegal alien smuggling is epedemic here, to the point where smugglers being busted doesn't even make the news in most cases.

No you don't, you're butchered English is retarded. It's lazy, basic, and a lot pronounced incorrectly. You are indoctrinated that it's amazing. It ain't, it's retarded.

England became England 12 July 927, way before it put the mentally ill on the Mayflower. Deal with it.
To Americans, calling your tiny, unimportant island England, Great Britain or the UK is all the same. We don't care what you call yourselves. It's like the call the People Republic of China, CHINA, or the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, NORTH KOREA, or the Russian Federation, RUSSIA.

Last I looked, Florida preferred you not do that. They assume everybody has a weapon in their car and go from there.

Also, last I checked, Florida Cops can't tell if you have a CCW by running your DL.

In California your CCW is automatically tied into your vehicle registration and your CDL ( all they have to do is hit a tab when running you or your vehicle )

I've had guns in my home for over seven decades. There has never been a shooting, domestic violence or suicide. Your logic is flawed. It is like saying that if you own a car, your odds of dying in a car accident, committing a terrorist act or vehicular manslaughter are increased. SMFH
Good for you. I have as well and gee… only one suicide

Yea…

I never asked but I'm sure a LEO knows that here in Pa when they run you.

You mean the English that understands what “ A Bunch of Fives “ means or the English that understands what a Pistol Carry Permit is ?
How about the one that says, Let's go outside and huff a ***." ('***' means cigarette in England)

No. Your Florida driver's license is not linked to your Florida concealed weapons license. Therefore, a law enforcement officer (LEO) will not be notified that you are a concealed carry license holder immediately when they run your driver's license.Nov 22, 2024

Nice link, thanks. Police are informed here, that you have a carry permit when running your info. I thought they would but wasn't sure.

If they aren't assuming everybody is armed, they are making a mistake. You guy rank higher, but have been seen more reports on YouTube out of New Mexico lately.

I live in Arizona, I don’t need a “permit” to carry a weapon, concealed or open carry.
It's the same here in Ohio. But we do need a concealed carry permit to get reciprocity from some states. So if you travel a lot you probably want to get the permit.
