I was watching some program over the past weekend and learned through our weather forecasters that the land that makes up the lower 48 states of the US is the area of the globe having the most extreme weather and climate. Around the globe the NA continent is the wildest. Interesting to say the least.Too funny;
Winter has dropped 2.26 degrees F over the Northern hemisphere over the last ten years yet some how we are magically the hottest ever recorded..
And the Northern Hemsiphere has cooled ...

And yes, if CO2 is a heat source than Mars at 96% CO2 in its atmosphere would expect to be warmer than 0 degrees C since it is obviously catastrophic here on earth at .04% of the atmosphere.Satellite data sets aren't regarded as reliable, due to all the fiddling, fudging and guesswork that goes into converting a microwave measurement to temperature. In comparison, the surface temperature measurements undergo far less post-processing, so they're regarded as the gold standard.

There had never been as hot a 12-month period in NASA’s database as February 2014–January 2015. But that turned out to be a very short-lived record.
NASA reported this weekend that last month was the second-hottest February on record, which now makes March 2014–February 2015 the hottest 12 months on record. This is using a 12-month moving average, so we can “see the march of temperature change over time,” rather than just once every calendar year.
We are experiencing the continuation of the global warming trend that made 2014 the hottest calendar year on record. The very latest science says we should expect an acceleration in surface temperature warming to start quite soon. What is happening now is consistent with that.
Once again February has been cold for those of us living in the eastern and northeastern U.S. — and once again, the rest of the country and the globe is quite warm, with large parts of Asia and Alaska experiencing nearly off-the-charts heat. That’s clear in the NASA chart below for February temperatures, whose upper range extends to a whopping 8.4°C (15.1°F) above the 1951-1980 average!
2015 might beat 2014! Maybe our first .7c year??? We will see.

CO2 is not a heat source. Nobody claims it is, and only pathological liars pretend that anyone else made such a claim. So stop making that claim.

Mars receives 40% of the solar radiation that the earth receives, and has zero water vapor its atmosphere. Therefore, the science says the little heat Mars gets will quickly radiate back out to space through all the open spectral windows that aren't blocked by water vapor. And that's exactly what happens. The science has been proven to be 100% correct.
Standard climate science says Mars should be frigid. That is a hard fact, and is not debatable. When you and Frank claim the science says Mars should be 500F, you are proudly lying. Stop it.
