Durbin didn't mention the reason for redactions is part of FOIA requirements for release of information.

During the review, in March, FBI personnel were said to have identified numerous references to Trump and other high-profile people, with the names then redacted by FOIA officers because they were private citizens at the time—a common practice under FOIA case law.

In particular, the reviewers applied two FOIA exemptions to justify their redactions. The first, Exemption 6, protects individuals against “a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.” The Supreme Court has said the exemption protects "individuals from the injury and embarrassment" that would result from the disclosure of personal information in possession of the government.

The second, Exemption 7(C), protects personal information contained in law enforcement records, the disclosure of which “could reasonably be expected to constitute an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.”

Those FBI investigation files hold the videos from Epstein's walk in closet size safe, which would identify the abusers and prove the victims are not lying.

Also, the 59 page indictment against Epstein and the evidence the FBI gathered to support it in the DOJ Epstein trial is being hidden from the victims as well....and visitor logs that could help prove the victims stories are matched up with visits there, giving some more proof....for them to at least be able to get some justice through Civil Law relief....since criminal law justice has failed them.

Epstein and Maxwell were their abusers and they got money to keep their mouths shut and there were only 5 to 17 witnesses of which 5 were actual victims....even if all the 17 victims......HOW IS THAT JUSTICE for the other 1000 victimized? This was not a small time operation....and NDAs, non disclosures, DOES NOT STOP THE abuser from abusing more and more girls....it gives him a free pass, of which Epstein used while serving with work release 12hours a day and only prison at night... Hundreds of more girls were lured in and groomed and abused during that period and afterwards....who's ruined lives and underage sexual abuse, could have been prevented.

After the 2006 trial, those who were victimized via Eps and Max, had a chance to confront those who abused them, some went civil, most didn't want to go down that road again.
