As a recent survivor (not 2 years in), I had a very difficult time listening to their stories. Full blown panic attack. Sweating. Hyperventilating. Shaking. I can’t breathe.

I feel the immense pain of how hard all victims are fighting for themselves because we know absolutely no one will fight for us.

Mace has been candid about her past sexual assault ordeal. Earlier this year, she accused her former fiancé, tech entrepreneur Patrick Bryant, and three others of sexual assault during a lengthy House floor speech.

One of those men, Brian Musgrave, denied Mace’s accusations, and has even filed a defamation lawsuit against her, Politico reported.

In May, she shocked Congress when she shared a photo of her nude silhouette that she claimed was taken by Bryant without consent.

Bryant has also denied the allegations.

“I have never raped anyone,” he said in a statement to Politico at the time. “I have never hidden cameras. I have never harmed any woman. These accusations are not just false — they are malicious and deeply personal.”
