Nadler Plans House ANOTHER Beatup on President Trump Over Roger Stone's Commutation

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., said his committee plans new law forbidding President Trump to commute Roger Stone's sentence.
"House Democrats on Friday announced plans to move forward with measures in response to President Trump’s commutation of Roger Stone's sentence last week, with one top Democrat saying, “In this country, no one is above the law.”
"House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., said his committee planned to hold a markup on Thursday on two measures."
“The first, H.R. 1627, the Abuse of the Pardon Power Prevention Act, will allow us a measure of transparency into the President’s power to pardon federal crimes and commute federal sentences,” Nadler said. “If the president uses the powers of his office to shield himself and his family from federal investigations, then the investigators at the Department of Justice should provide us with the materials related to the underlying offense.”

Statistics as of 7/8/2020, not including the 5 police officers shot in Houston that same evening

Jaba Nadless is overstepping his bounds. Congress has no authority in pardons/commutations.

How does the commutation of Roger Stone's sentence protect President Trump and his family at all? Nadler isn't making any sense.

Whether Roger Stone is locked away in a dungeon for the rest of his life or not, doesn't impact his committee or anyone else's ability to "investigate" any of the Trumps.

I believe, as Roger stone said, and as he was indicted for, he lied to investigators and congress, about the President' s knowledge on the Wikileaks stolen emails..... for the President.....

The president swore under oath via deposition questions that he answered, that he did not get a heads up on whatever emails were going to be released that day....

Roger lied for him, saying he gave him no heads up.

And Trump commuted his sentence, for lying for him.

It was important for Stone to lie about it, because the President lied under oath about it.... committed perjury.... another, impeachable offense.

Since you think you have all of the answers, there is no need to investigate, which was Nadler's excuse for this bullshit legislation.

Nadlers legislation is to prevent future President's abuse...

What did trump abuse?

His pardon, commuting powers....

Dangling pardons/ commutations to those covering up, presidential criminal actions, is an abuse of presidential power.....

Obama let over 1900 out of jail, so we should rearrest them?

What part are you intentionally ignoring?

Roger Stone was convicted of 7 felonies, by a 12 man jury of his peers, for lying under oath, about the President, to protect the President.

Presidents pardoning criminals that help themselves beat a criminal indictment, is an abuse of presidential power.

Pardoning and commutation power by any president, is not for personal criminal cover-up use....

The president is not above the law.

Seriously Care, how can you be this DAFT?

You're a great story teller, the kids must love you.

Basically you're talking a scenario and claiming it's fact when you clearly don't know what.

Accusation against Trump? You'll believe it, whatever that accusation is. He's not a Democrat, who you reject all accusations against. It's called partisanship

Good. The President should be barred from pardoning his friends and associates. They plead guilty or were found guilty in jury trials.

President Trump pardoned a man who was ensnared by nasty Dems who recruited and ruined several FBI agents to investigate points of interest in FBI files Hillary Clinton was supposed to have given back to the FBI, and she forgot whether she made copies of them, but for some reason has the poop on anybody she wants to poop on, and that happens frequently when she's madder than a hatter that she lost the presidency to President Donald J. Trump. And her idea of revenge is, well, not many people are around to tell what she pulled on them after she used them up, then tossed them under the bus with malice aforethought.

The Mueller investigation/report was made for the finite reason of determining whether or not President Trump colluded with Russia. They knew within a month that he did nothing wrong, but they were Democrats answering to Nancy Pelosi who told everyone that she was the most important person in the world after Trump was inaugurated, and the entire circus of Democrats who attended Barack Obama's "Get a Coup against Trump" treasonous meeting throwing out orders to his staff to throw a coup Donald Trump's way after he won the election.

I feel sorry for the true liberals who actually bought the treason farm against trump.

You’re lying again. Thou shall not bear false witness. Trump’s claims Of improper actions by the FBI are have all proven to be lies. Even Bill Barr called Stone’s conviction “righteous” and said he should go to jail.

But you parrot the lies.

These men and women who spend 40 years and more as national politicians, they........they disrespect the office they were elected to by disrespecting the meaning of what the founding fathers meant in the Constitution. The one thing they did not count on was lifetime politicians infecting the capital of the United States. Most things were accounted for in that document. A few were removed and limits of a person in office should be capped by amendment. Then you would not have fools like this who is smart enough to get elected over and over but not smart enough to be great. And we have had so few great leaders the last 60 years.
