Nadler announces sweeping document requests, says Trump obstructed justice

This only seems to make sense to you because you have no idea what the crime of obstruction of justice means.
Oh no! That's disconcerting. And what stings even more is that I will never understand, since you just don't feel like explaining it. Woe is me.
lol Really, you need treatment. There simply is no evidence of obstruction of justice. If you had a functioning brain, you would understand that's why Mueller never made the charge despite Democrats constantly telling us that he would. Are you really stupid enough to believe these hearings are anything but political props? That these politicians will uncover anything Mueller didn't?

After 2 years of Mueller, the House is now the top law enforcement agency in the U.S?

Can't beat him on policies, afraid you're losing all future voters when a wall is built, worried about another Conservative Supreme Court Judge?

No problem, just harass and try and get rid of the president who was democratically elected.

Nadler announces sweeping document requests, says Trump obstructed justice

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, who would oversee any impeachment proceedings against President Trump, announced that he will submit more than 60 document requests to the White House and Justice Department on Monday -- a barrage that Nadler called the opening salvo in new and wide-ranging investigations.

Congressional Democrats have repeatedly promised to exercise tight oversight of the Trump administration since securing a majority in the House of Representatives in last November's midterms. But Nadler's comments signaled clearly that Democratic leaders are no longer counting on Special Counsel Robert Mueller's forthcoming report on possible Russia collusion to contain damning evidence against the Trump administration.

“Tomorrow, we will be issuing document requests to over 60 different people and individuals from the White House to the Department of Justice, Donald Trump, Jr., [Trump Organization CFO] Allen Weisselberg, to begin the investigations to present the case to the American people about obstruction of justice, corruption and abuse of power,” Nadler, D-NY., said on ABC News' "This Week."

He added that the goal of the probe was "to present the case to the American people about obstruction of justice, corruption and abuse of power."

Asked by anchor George Stephanopoulos whether he thinks Trump obstructed justice in the Russia investigation, Nadler replied: "Yes, I do. ... It's very clear that the president obstructed justice."
Trump response: DENIED.
You think he has the power to do that?

Some of it he can take to court. The rest - he has the power to drag it out every bit as long as the Democrats did with Bengazi and Hillary documentation, much of which was never gotten.

There simply is no evidence of obstruction of justice.
As if you could possibly know what evidence exists out there or is currently in the possession of the FBI, the Mueller team, and federal prosecutors. Sorry dude, I am simply not moved by your authoritative declarations that you pull out of your ass.

Obstruction of Justice is a serious crime. It is, in fact, impeachable. If it is shown quite conclusively that Trump committed this crime while in the Oval Office, I don't think Republicans in the Senate will be able to stem the tide of impeachment. Unlike their reactionary, emotional base, they have to consider the possibility of opening the door to this criminal behavior to any future, Democrat President.

but it is certainly not a choice they want to face anytime soon. so, they will kick this can past the 2020 election, no matter what information comes to light.
You have a very active and vivid imagination.

Nadler has no power to subpoena internal White House communications. The SC has already ruled on that issue. He also has no power to subpoena any of Trumps personal documents and communications.

Evidently Nadler has then been in contact with Mueller!

Even you can't be quite as stupid as that. In two years Mueller, who is about to close his investigation, found nothing to suggest obstruction of justice, and no one has suggested any act which might be obstruction of justice. No one with a functioning brain believes there was anything that would constitute obstruction of justice.

Yeah, you said that already. Several times. But, in reality, you could not possibly know the truth of this claim, and you have just pulled it right out of your ass. What more can be said?
no one has suggested any act which might be obstruction of justice

You haven't heard a single person suggest that, eh? I have. many of them are congresspeople. One was former head of the FBI. And so was another one. One was former head of the CIA. Sorry, I know none of them were Alex Jones or Rush Limbaugh, but those guys aren't the only two people of import on the planet, my man.

Why would he? Nadler is only interested in putting on a TV show.

All part of the plot.

really? Because they could just then ignore it? Okay, I can see that. But Mueller managed to do it: Robert Mueller Subpoenaed Communications Between Donald Trump and His Closest Advisors, Says Report
Mueller is part of the DOJ, not Congress. As out of control as he is, he can't get a subpoena without suspicion of a crime to justify it. He can't just go on a fishing trip as Nadler is trying to do.

You may have heard people babbling about obstruction of justice, as you are doing, but not of any particular act that constituted obstruction of justice.

Yes, I understand that. And? I'm looking for clarification. I am not saying I disbelieve your claim.

He can't just go on a fishing trip as Nadler is trying to do.
Irrelevant. You said that Nadler can't subpoena internal white house communications. As stated, that means he can never do this, regardless of any suspicion he may demonstrate. So i am still looking for clarification.

Wrong again! the people I heard -- many of which I somewhat listed for you -- pointed right to several very specific acts. Like, asking Comey to drop the Flynn investigation; then firing him on a false premise; then admitting on national tv that the premise was false; then bragging to the top russian spy in the oval office about why he fired comey and how it took pressure off of him; liketrying to interfere with and influence ongoing investigations y appointing friendlies to oversee them; like being complicit (or even active) in directing people to lie to investigators and congress...

Shall I go on?

Swatting down the false shit you are pulling out of your ass is like a full time job.
