Nadler announces sweeping document requests, says Trump obstructed justice

dimocrap FILTH are gonna pay for this shit in 2020.

I know a lot of moderate Republicans and democrats that really never liked Trump, and still don't.

But they are starting to see what we've been telling them for years. Decades, in fact.

That the dimocrap party is made up of the scum of the Earth.

dimocrap filth are gonna lose by a record number in 2020. I'm talking 80 House Seats and 6 Senate Seats plus a margin of victory in the Electoral College that will dwarf 2016. All we gotta do is sit back and watch them self-destruct

Never murder a man who is committing suicide.

After 2 years of Mueller, the House is now the top law enforcement agency in the U.S?

Can't beat him on policies, afraid you're losing all future voters when a wall is built, worried about another Conservative Supreme Court Judge?

No problem, just harass and try and get rid of the president who was democratically elected.

Nadler announces sweeping document requests, says Trump obstructed justice

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, who would oversee any impeachment proceedings against President Trump, announced that he will submit more than 60 document requests to the White House and Justice Department on Monday -- a barrage that Nadler called the opening salvo in new and wide-ranging investigations.

Congressional Democrats have repeatedly promised to exercise tight oversight of the Trump administration since securing a majority in the House of Representatives in last November's midterms. But Nadler's comments signaled clearly that Democratic leaders are no longer counting on Special Counsel Robert Mueller's forthcoming report on possible Russia collusion to contain damning evidence against the Trump administration.

“Tomorrow, we will be issuing document requests to over 60 different people and individuals from the White House to the Department of Justice, Donald Trump, Jr., [Trump Organization CFO] Allen Weisselberg, to begin the investigations to present the case to the American people about obstruction of justice, corruption and abuse of power,” Nadler, D-NY., said on ABC News' "This Week."

He added that the goal of the probe was "to present the case to the American people about obstruction of justice, corruption and abuse of power."

Asked by anchor George Stephanopoulos whether he thinks Trump obstructed justice in the Russia investigation, Nadler replied: "Yes, I do. ... It's very clear that the president obstructed justice."
You're delusional. It's the republicans who are losing voters, nibnob really wants the wall, and he has no real policies, just whims.

If you don't like then investigating then next time choose a candidate without criminal tendencies.

There's no way, Republicans are not leaving, they are expanding with Independents. Democrats have Blexit and Walkaway campaigns to deal with on top of more disenfranchised Americans who are asking the Democrats, "what policies do you offer us"?

It's been a fraud, it's going to backfire and it goes WAY beyond politics.

It always has been, when it comes to the president of the United States. I'm sure they don't teach US civics in Canada, so I'll give you a pass on your ignorance. Ya might need to completely rewrite your post, though.

Well good to know.

What does the Executive Branch have to investigate politicians? Is it a One Way Street?

What does the Executive Branch have to investigate politicians
Besides the FBI?

Do you know what those letters stand for?

So, the House can investigate the elected President of the U.S, but, he has no recourse to investigate and hold them accountable outside of the FBI?

Wow, that's different.

Can he pass an E.O to force transparency of politicians?

but, he has no recourse to investigate and hold them accountable outside of the FBI?
Uh...what other recourse would ever be needed? What in the world are you complaining about? It's only the largest, most well equipped investigative body on the planet. And they refer criminal charges to the best justice system on the planet.

While every other American is bound by the law and due process, the president is above prosecution, in every practical sense. For you to try to contrive some sort of ass backwards argument that this state of affairs is skewed against the president is absurd.

This is going to be the backfire heard around the world. Democrats have nothing. They want endless investigations as a form of harassment. As Joy Behar said, they are desperate. Desperation makes people do foolish things.

Democrats know they do not have a candidate to challenge Trump. That's why they are not putting any effort in getting a Democrat elected.
If they have nothing them why are you assholes unhinged over the investigation?

Because deep down you know Comrade Trump for the corrupt, lying slimeball that he is, that's why!

He has endured 2+ years of investigation with some of the most ridiculous background, including payments from the Democratic Party to a former British spy for a "dossier" what was by most accounts, full of shyte, and you think unlimited power to investigate for another 2 years is warranted and legit?

I hope Trump and his lawyers are meeting and plotting a harsh response beyond just words. Let's see what's behind the curtain. This is a travesty to U.S elections and the Self Interests of Americans.

If Mueller found something with all his resourced and outreach, that's one thing, all of this going forward is a pile-on for political purposes because GLOBAL SOCIALISTS want to run your country and your puny life.

I have to say, only the most naive or loyal to agency PATSY would think otherwise.

The dems can try to get blood from a stone and find some grounds to impeach Trump, but its not ever going to happen. The GOP senate will never vote to remove, especially after the dems, FBI, DOJ and the MSM setup the Mueller scam. There aren't many pols besides Trump who could have weathered that coordinated coup attempt.

So, lemme guess, you are NOT for transparent government?

The GOP members failed to exercise oversight; maybe the Dems will mop the floors better?

This is a good excuse to discuss a large "hole" in the role of the Federal judiciary, especially the Supreme Court. Congress should grant the USSC the power to make declaratory judgments and advisory opinions on matters like this.

There is nothing in Article One of the Constitution (delineating the "powers" of Congress) that gives them the right to harass the President like this. There is a Justice Department that is principally charged with law enforcement, and the "American way" is to start investigating a crime when it is known that a crime has been committed. Not to perform legal colonoscopies of un-liked people, hoping for evidence of a crime.

The White House should tell this ass-hole to go **** himself and demand to see the portion of Article One that authorizes this invasion into the Executive Branch.

And there is NO LEGITIMATE case for "obstruction of justice" against the President, as every honest legal pundit has already indicated. YOU CANNOT explore the depths of a President's "heart" to ascertain the "real reason" why he exercises his legal prerogatives. So for example, if the President provides a laundry list of tenable reasons why he fired James Comey, it is not legally permissible to go back into the President's head and say, "No, the REAL reason was to impede the Russia investigation." This is preposterous and WILL NEVER HAPPEN. It is all bullshit.

and you think unlimited power to investigate for another 2 years is warranted and legit?
Yes, of course. That is the power reserved by the co-equal legislative branch. Again, you're getting into US civics.

Then Trump has to hit back hard and let the American People see what's behind their motives.

I am seeing people openly wanting to destroy America, your Constitution and the most treasured of American institutions. The biggest winner in all of this is China, Putin not far behind as he sees Americas system of Republic being harmed by Open Borders and so many other ridiculous policies that the Global Socialist have

Transparent government, not perpetual persecution of the President.

This is purely political, and it's cowardly. Bet on this, the biggest losers are Americans, your businesses, jobs and the future of your Constitution.

Was the witch hunt against Kavanaugh "transparency"? How about allegations against Trump from women who quickly disappeared after he was elected?

China and their pals who make it rich from these Communists are going to destroy America if you don't wake up and call it as you see it, and they won't have to fire a shot.

You already have an extensive investigation, with little evidence, and it's been given broad powers and been going on for two years.

If there is nothing there, there's nothing there. Did they investigate Nixons life 20 years prior? His family?

This is more than a slippery slope. This is a direct extension of what many suggested Obama was doing in private to Conservatives. This will have a trickle down effect and elections will mean nothing more than "how much can we investigate and conjure up for 20 years prior for this person"?

You already have an extensive investigation, with little evidence
Stop right there. I am not going to allow you to pinch off these piles of crap and then just keep talking.

How could you possibly know what evidence Mueller and the new York and DC federal prosecutors' offices do or do not possess? We would all like to know.
