My wife and I are 50, but we don't look it

Most guys look in the mirror and see Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The OP needs a shave

My wife and I are 50, but people who don't know us guess us to be in our 30's or 40's.

When I look at a picture of my wife, she looks no different from her high school photograph.

Women my age look old to me, except for my wife.

There are some men my age who look like they're in their 60's.

How do we do it?

We don't smoke, we don't take drugs, and my wife and I drink in moderation.

When I hear people whine that they have a "right" to take drugs, and want to make them legal, my response is this:

Every time you smoke, every time you take drugs, every time you abuse alcohol, you are declaring war on your own body.

And if you keep it up, your body will give up and you will look old and sick before your time.

Someone famous once said, "Your body is a temple." If you abuse your body, you are defiling the temple that is your body.

"It's none of your business!" you say.

Well, if you can somehow get sick and go to the hospital and get a lung or liver transplant without increasing my health insurance premium, then tell me it's not my business.

Well I am glad you think you guys look so great- and glad if you are healthy.

Of course it helps if people live healthy lives but we can and do disagree on what is 'healthy'?

What about riding motorcycles? Downhill skiing? Long days spent on the beach- or working outside on the farm? What about eating meat? Or not eating meat?

You drink in 'moderation'- some people would say that there is no such thing as 'moderation'- it is all poison(which it is)- and others say that using marijuana in 'moderation' is okay.

Finally- I would take a person who is kind to others- and is fun to be around any day over someone who looks younger than there age and who is a pain in the ass.

And I suspect from your posts- you must be a pain in the ass to be around.

I've also lost 43 pounds in the last year. I've had to take my suits to the tailor to bring in the waist two inches. People have noticed. A friend of my father called me a "traitor" for losing weight. He's obese, and it seems most middle-aged men are obese. Most of my friends from my college days have become obese. I still have a long way to go to reach "normal" weight..

That is fantastic!

Of course those who have never been overweight might want to complain about people like you driving up their healthcare costs......

I was "cursed" with a baby face.

When I was 21, I looked 15.....always had my ID checked until I was almost 30
Everyone I went out with laughed at me

Now, I am almost 60 and look like I am in my 40s. Still not gray and no wrinkles showing
Those who used to laugh at my youthful appearance look like they are 70

same here... when I was in my Junior year of college, I worked with my mom for a week in the Middle School library and someone actually asked me for a hall pass.....

i don't see anyone else posting pics of their supposed "youthful looks"... pfft to you all...

I'm going to put Two Thumbs and Carla_Danger on ignore. They have contributed nothing but stupidity and hate to this thread.

hate is overrated... no time for that!

My wife and I are over 50 and we both look great. OK, that's only half true.
