Have you ever considered doing therapy where you talk about your feelings and thoughts - possibly family therapy as there seems to be stuff going on there. This might help you. If you do have some hurt or anger which you are shutting off from, getting in touch with it again, seeing it for what it is, could help you feel a lot stronger and with the family involved, could help you to support each other. Then you could come off your tablets!
