Oh yair? Well would you belive that last time I went to the U.S. (1998) I cried on many a night because I missed the big bloke (Sam) so much? (true story) Of course the little bloke, Lochie, wasn't born then.

The photo was taken last year when Lochie was about 12 months old, Sam nearly 11. He is now taller than Sam, who is very tall for a Shepherd, but still as skinny as a drink of water at 44 Kgs.

Sam weighs in at 53 kgs but the big sook still tries to climb up on daddy's knee for a nurse every night when I settle down to watch TV.

Sam is a people loving dog whereas Lochie is the exact opposite.

My daughter Danielle says. "Greater love hath no Dad, he'd lay down his life for his dogs!"

I'd believe it...I was always pleased to get back to my menagerie after being overseas for lengthy periods. All my cats have been from the shelter (Life Member RSPCA and Animal Welfare League), the dogs have been usually as a result of being asked to take them in from friends.

Me? Big boofhead of a bloke but reading this - http://www.portauthoritypolicememorial.org/sirius.htm - I get in touch with my inner sook. Problem for this big boofhead is I don't have to go too deep to find that inner sook.

Alright enough of that. Where's a Tory I can tear into?
