Libel and slander are government laws that punish you for your words. It is not the other citizen punishing you, it is the Govt.

And since you seem to support Libel and slander laws, you also understand that free speech is not absolute.

Libel and slander are a citizen's recourse against other citizens who wronged them. It is NOT like Congress abridging free speech. Even should a court demand restitution for words printed, said, or disseminated, that is STILL not "abridging" speech. It's punishing damaging speech--and I'm all in favor of that, btw.

What we do know is that the DNC and Biden camp were actively having things censored. This activity ramped up over time to the point it was 'continuous'.

We can say that the DNC is not 'goverment', which is legally correct, however, anyone claiming that the DNC acted without the knowledge of dems in government is being willfully obtuse, IMHO.

There is a lot more here, obviously, and it would make sense for anyone with more than 2 brain cells to rub together to see what comes out in total before declaring anything whatsoever.

Who decided that people would get thrown off for questioning vaccines, or masks, or any of a myriad of issues that people were getting thrown off for. I saw people posting data and facts from the CDC get thrown off. Doctors that questioned the narrative were thrown off. Who fueled this and why.

We also know the Biden administration was so comfortable with this protocol when they took office that they were forming their own 'Ministry of Truth'.

1 day of posts is not a complete picture of any of this. Musk is doing this for publicity, of course. He is also not a moron, despite how the left is trying to paint their Golden Boy turned Villain so it makes sense to see how this plays out.

Unlike USMB, Twitter believed (correctly) that they had a responsibility to not endanger persons lives with folks recommending you take horse dewormer, having a Lysol cocktail, suggest armed aggression against political enemies, undermine our free and fair elections (many of whom were won by Republicans BTW).

Someday those who moderate this board will have to look at themselves in the mirror and wonder why they endorsed such things. If I believed in God, I'd pray for them.
