Yes please..... Nothing would please me more than to see a serious third party take hold.... One with deep pockets and the ability to actually stand up to the uniparty. I don't know what's going on between him and Trump and I don't care.

I do care about political freedom though and we will never have that until we break the two party hold.

I am all for the chaos but Musk's idea that he is somehow in the middle is a joke. He is in it for him. That is it. It isn't an effort I'll support with an actual vote. He is right of Trump on fiscal matters and that is saying something. He isn't even the libertarian he tries to pretend to be.

Medicaid should be only for American citizens.
Or those citizens who have a history of 10 quarters of gainful employment on their social security account or have a family member that has done likewise who claims them as a dependent.

But yes a third party would be a real blessing break up the shenanigans of the uniparty and their fleecing of the American flock.

Elon is a genius in his own right which does not include American politics. Elon was picked by Trump to out corruption and over spending in the government. That's it. He has no power to fix anything. That would require him to mount a nation-wide campaign and run for high office. IMO, that will never happen.

In the meantime, he needs to understand that his job was only one part of Trump's vision and he (Elon) should stay in his own lane.

Because third parties don’t work.

Because they have no comprehensive and cohesive strategy to grow the party, to the point that they'll nominate any schmuck with a pulse who'll claim the libertarian mantle.

They were very much on track to grow from 1996-2004, then the wheels came off.

They were never a serious party...There's alot I like about Libertarians, however, they never polled the people to find out what they wanted, instead they went off the deep end with things like total drug legalization, not knowing geo politics, and just nominating horrible candidates...

If they were a serious party they'd build from the bottom up...ie; local seats, Congress, Mayors, Governors, THEN swing for the fences.

With due respect to out Founders, they didn't understand human nature very well. Conflict between two different groups were evident during the Constitutional Convention. It was that way ever since.
