I'm not so sure. I suspect most democrats will stick with the democrat party. Democrats are not looking for change. They actually think for the most part that they are heading the country in the right direction!

But most for a third 'American' party would likely then come from the GOP. Split between the GOP and the Musk Party, democrats win.

I think a better idea is to just keep working on making the GOP more and more MAGA.

I would rather the republican party tackle spending and debt than a third party created to do so .. a third party of the nature Musk is promoting could peel away millions of voters from the Republican party and would be a huge help to democrats who have no desire at all to cut spending and waste !
