Musk and the Third party...

Because they have no comprehensive and cohesive strategy to grow the party, to the point that they'll nominate any schmuck with a pulse who'll claim the libertarian mantle.

They were very much on track to grow from 1996-2004, then the wheels came off.

Except not really.

Their best showing in those three cycles was 0.5% in 2004, then they went down.

Their best showing ever was in 2016, because no one at the time liked Hillary or Trump.

Elon and those around him better realize that if they don't help Americans defeat the traitors, they will all end up wishing they had.

America needs Elon.

Trump needs Elon.

If Trump goes down, Elon better be on Mars because the WEF/Democrats will show him no mercy.

Oh, we won't care. We are enjoying watching him and Trump go at it, frankly.

Elon should have known what he was buying into before he spent $250MM. Instead, he elected a guy who promised to cut the government cheese his companies need.

Yes please..... Nothing would please me more than to see a serious third party take hold.... One with deep pockets and the ability to actually stand up to the uniparty. I don't know what's going on between him and Trump and I don't care.

I do care about political freedom though and we will never have that until we break the two party hold.

Go Elon!. .DOOOOOOOOOO IT!

Ross Perot tried it and failed. I was a two time Perot voter.

However, Musk has one significant advantage that Perot didn't have - he owns his own media outlet (X). Perot was at the mercy of the main stream media back then. Musk can use however he feels like and there isn't a darn thing the Uniparty can do about it.

The problem with having your own media outlet is that if you just turn it into a propaganda arm, people ignore it.

So, is this you telling us that you now believe that MSM outlets have become propaganda outlets? Welcome to the dark side Joe....

Look, Both parties have been treating the American people like they're stupid for 30 years now, probably longer...It's getting to the point where no one believes them anymore...The dems are destructive to the nation, and want to tear it down, and the reps are showing that they have no concern anymore for the nations bank account unless they can raid it for personal gain...

What ever the outcome, it's going to be rocky for the United States, and we brought us here...Think about it, it's to the point where people openly laugh at the speeches either party's candidate gives...The jig is up....

The debt is going to be reduced, and this bill is spending neutral.

A year from now, the debt doomers are going to look as foolish as the tariff doomers and the Iran doomers.

Fooled by the same stupid mainstream media they purportedly decry.

. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent pushed back on Sunday when CNN’s Dana Bash said the “One Big, Beautiful Bill” would result in cuts to Medicaid. "Only in DC is a 20% hike over 10 years a cut,” said Bessent. “Medicaid funding will go up 20% over the next 10 years. The people who Medicaid was designed for – the pregnant women, the disabled, and families with children under 14 – will be refocused.” “Able-bodied Americans are not vulnerable Americans, so a work requirement or a community service requirement, that’s very popular with the public."

In the broader objective , left/right is merely a diversion from the up/down reality of political stripe in America

Perot could afford his own government style security for everyone in his family and their neighbors. So the death threats that he came, that convinced him to drop out, must've come from a serious source. IE our own government.

When the paperwork for a 3rd party gets filed, I'll take it more seriously. But I think the majority of American are pretty tired of one bad democrat & RINO republican after the next.

In 1992 Perot was actually competitive in a three-way race. He was taking George Sr. votes away and had a chance. Then he mysteriously dropped out. Several weeks later he gets ack in and ends up with double digit votes as a percentage. Perhaps 15% or so. Enough to give Clinton the victory. In 1996 he runs again to thwart Dole. So, either Perot was in on a scam, was threatened as not to win, or was legit. All of that talking though. And he drops out. I even remember the VP. Some retired wooden speaker Admiral. His name was Stockdale, I think. At a debate, Gore and Quayle were arguing over each other, and Stockdale was said "this is what the problem is".

Ballot access is the first hurdle.

Ballot access is the first hurdle.

That'll be a tough nut to crack, for sure. Getting good people on board to get the platform started, as in what the AP will be supporting is going to take some time.
But who knows, at this point.

The biggest hurdle I see is the uniparty bashing them all over the news and social media. Cancel cultures from both sides is going to be a mountain.

Of course. It's the same reflexive bashing that goes on re: ranked choice voting.

If Musk wants to win he'll call his party the "Free Shit Party"
