Musical Families

The Pointer Sisters have already been mentioned.

I'll add from their collection...

I'm So Excited

Sisters June, Bonnie, and Anita Pointer

I'll Take You There - The Staple Singers

Sisters Mavis, Cleotha, and Yvonne Staples, and patriarch "Pops" Staples. There's also Pervis, a son, who's been a part of the group at times.

Don't Change - INXS

Initially formed as the Farris Brothers with brothers Tim, Andrew, and Jon, with Garry Gary Beers, Kirk Pengilly, and lead singer Michael Hutchence.

Find A Way - Smoosh

Sisters Asya "Asy" Saavedra and Chloe Saavedra.
Younger Maia Saavedra has also been a part of the band at one point.

The duo now performs as Chaos Chaos.

Sweet Jane - Cowboy Junkies

Siblings Michael Timmins (songwriter, guitarist), Peter Timmins (drummer) and Margo Timmins (vocalist) with non-sibling Alan Anton (bassist)

Need You Around - Smoking Popes

Brothers Matt Caterer (bass), Josh Caterer (lead vocals/guitar) and Eli Caterer (guitar/backing vocals) with non-sibling Mike Felumlee (drums).

The recent thread on Phil Collins inspired me to pick this thread up where I left off. Jason Derlatka is currently in the Journey lineup but he did a masterful cover of "Send Her My Love". Now, the guitarist is Trevor Lukather, the bassist is Sam Porcaro. In case those names seem familar, Trev's dad is none other than Toto frontman Steve Lukather and Sam's is the late bass master Mike Porcaro.
