Good idea. However, there's a few problems with doing that. One, you will remove 911 call capability from hundreds, perhaps thousands of innocent civilians. Two, many police departments are currently under the command of politicians or brass who have sided with the rioters. Thus no such capability will be provided to hundreds of local and state police departments. It's more likely that the mayors, even police commissioners of many, many towns and cities and other jurisdictions will hand out burner phones to rioters to aid them in coordination of their destruction of America. Now is not a good time to be a cop in any form. Seems like a cop, in our current situation, likely won't know if the officer or commander standing next to him is friend or enemy until it's too late.

Yea, I thought about the 911 capabilities, but if you are violating curfew and out on the street breaking the law, you should have some consequences to your actions. Maybe your cell phone won’t work.
