Mr. Trump, the head of National Weather Service and many others need to be fired immediately for lying about Melissa being Cat 5

Indeed, the head of NWS and the rest of those involved need to be put in front of a Grand Jury immediately.... after being fired.

They claim Melissa was a 200mph Cat 5 with lowest ever pressure inside the eye. In reality, what hit Jamaica was max Cat 2. The entire NWS stats and satellite image were deliberately fudged. What we were shown as "pilots flying by the eyewall" was undoubtedly from a cane in the past, as was the NWS satellite image.

How are they quickly busted for fraud?

1. storm surge - 157mph Cat 5 has storm surge 18+ feet, they claim 13 feet, the visual evidence is about 8 feet
2. wind speed - they claim it hit with 175 mph winds, but it failed to knock down trees, power lines, flimsy buildings, it was max 80mph winds on land.

They cannot fudge that.

Ever notice how these climate alarmists were always shouting just a few years ago. Someone would criticize them, and they'd say, "weather is not climate." Now it's reversed. It rains a little harder one day and the alarmist trumpets, "Climate change!"

^^^^^^

They can't refute one word of it.

Surrounding mesonet and buoy stations confirm Cat 5 status. Most likely another lib loon trying to put the smear on Trump

Thanks for reminding us what else was fudged.

EVERYTHING and EVERYONE who claimed Melissa was a Cat 5 needs to be "questioned."

Know nothing it was Category 5 while over open water

There is no sourcing here but there is commentary and photograph that the feeler feels prove some points but does not present any confirmation of the subject matter

I honestly don't know. But looking at the photos of damage in Jamaica and damage from other Cat 5 hurricanes over the years, I can't fault anyone from wondering about it.

For instance this is the damage from Cat 5 Andrew in South Florida: in 1992:

I have not seen anything comparable in the photos of damage from Melissa.

So yeah, it's hard to believe so many people would have called Melissa Cat 5 if it wasn't. But nevertheless, when you would expect damage in poor Jamaica to be worse than in affluent Florida, and it just isn't, it is not unreasonable to wonder.

Excellent, the difference is quite staggering visually, Cat 1 damage vs Cat 5.

CENSOR IT

LOL!!!

The sourcing is all in the link to the OP in Enviro, and it is considerable.

You can't refute one word of it.

But you do take taxpayer money to shout it down...

But then again how good is the photography? Or what we have been given to see?

I certainly don't fault you for raising the question. But I can't go so far to say that I know for sure Melissa wasn't a Cat 5. I just think it is reasonable to wonder about it.

You should be put in front of a grand jury under oath and certify that for us...

"Well, that's what MSNBC said...." parroting NWS's bullshit....

Find us a Cat 5 with a 13 foot or lower storm surge, and when you can't do that, explain why...

IF THERE WAS CAT 5 DAMAGE IT WOULD BE ALL OVER THE INTERNET AND THE NEWS.

THERE IS NOT, AND THAT IS WHY IT IS HARD TO FIND PHOTOS FROM JAMAICA, BECAUSE CO2 FRAUD AND THEIR ALLIES DO NOT WANT YOU TO SEE HOW OBVIOUS IT IS THIS WAS NOT CLOSE TO A CAT 5.

Again I don't know. I just know it is not unreasonable to wonder.

Im not sure but I do know that every news source that I have read, in reference to the hurricane season, has desperately yearned for a hurricane to hit the US mainland. Fortunately, the hurricane forecasters laid a big egg with 0 hitting the mainland this year. They were callling at one time for 3-5 majors to hit along with 7-9 under cat 3 to hit.

Again I don't know. I just know it is not unreasonable to wonder.

Fair enough, stay empirical.

At least you agree this needs to be "checked out"
