I have no respect for the man currently in the Oval Office.
Have you examined your true motives for having no respect for the man?
So the President claimed he killed bin Laden did he?
"..the United States has conducted an operation that killed Osama bin Laden, the leader of alQaeda,.."
Pre
So it's another typical lying campaign from the GOP supporters and repeaters.
Ho-hum.
Yeah, Publius. Reagan's a fine example: When your military base in Lebanon is attacked, strike back (by invading a small island nation in the Caribbean.
Oh, I disagree. Bush got his man.Obama got his man
Bush hardly tried

yes indeed. Obama is the Commander in Chief, so if we follow the chain of command as it currently is. Obama deserves some credit. To even try and make this a political play is sort of disingenuous at best.
Why is this so hard to understand? if Reagen gets credit for the fall of the Soviet Union, then Obama is surly in order to take a claim of the death of our greatest enemy.
Reagan participated in the foreign policy and global media war against the USSR, openly thrashing them at every moment he could. Obama had an OBL unit on auto piolet where the experts informed him on their progress and requested permission to raid the OBL compound upon receipt of good intelligence. Obama then passed three times and, when he finally gave the order, he made it a conditional one, allowing room for the spec ops commander to take the fall if it went south. Disconnected leadership is not leadership.

His man just happened to the leader of a nation with no WMD's, no support for AQ and no connection to Bin Laden or 9.11.

Thanks to that action we got rid of the threat from the people who struck the Marine barracks.
Right?

Christ, you get dumber and more childish with each post. You'll probably be eating baby food by the end of this thread.
Does he deserve the credit ...

you are obsessed with denying the obvious ... to bad for you.

Much More (Obama haters won't like it): How Obama Got Bin Laden: A Detailed Account From Showdown by David CornNeither Obama nor anyone else in the room had to discuss the most obvious point: Obama would be placing his presidency on the line. If he ordered the mission to proceed and it succeeded, he would receive hurrahs. It could well boost his political standing.
Yet if the mission went sourand American lives were lost, and the United States embarrassedObama would be denounced as hapless and incompetent. His right-wing critics would have evidence for their otherwise baseless contention that he was an amateur on national security. Obama and his aides were well aware that Desert One had reinforced the charge that President Carter, then contending with economic troubles, was feckless, and that the failed mission severely damaged his reelection prospects.
It was entirely possiblearguably probablethat Obama might never recover from such a failure. So much had to go exactly right for the raid to succeed; one accident or screwup (well beyond Obamas control) could sink the operationand his presidency. Obama was on the verge of taking the ultimate political risk.
I'm so not surprised you think other people should not object to obnoxious things this president does, day in and day out. He's all you have for a model. You're so right on, tinydander. Obama took credit away from the Seals and heaped it upon himself.
He needs to apologize to the Seals for stealing their thunder. The Seals paid a price for all that braggadocio when their brother seals were shot down by angry terrorists who targeted them after it was leaked who did it. They're marked men who weren't killed in the helicopter attack after revelations were made by the Obamabot press.
You need to apologize to our nation for trying to turn our victory into a point of political contention.
You should be ashamed of yourself.
Thanks to that action we got rid of the threat from the people who struck the Marine barracks.

Tell us more about the co-leader of Islamic Jihad - because your link doesn't address that alleged connection.
