Any there any movies you watched that you though deserved more credit somehow? Or they didn't get enough recognition for either the story line or the acting?

A couple for me are below. Alot of people I ask seemed to not have seen the first one especially:

A Time To Kill - Matthew McConaugheny, Sandra Bullock, Samuel L. Jackson
A Time to Kill (1996) - IMDb
Amazing acting on all parts, they seemed to fit perfect. The plot and ending is eye opening and deals with racism. Very difficult to watch what happened to the little girl though and her suffering. And ticks ya off about many things including the KKK.

Alive - Ethan Hawke

Based on a true story. Intense all the way through. I couldn't even imagine or know what I would do unless in the situation.

Everything is illuminated.

A great movie that most people have not seen.

Jonathan Foer, a young American Jewish man, goes on a quest to find the woman who saved his grandfather during the Holocaust in a small Ukrainian town called Trachimbrod that was wiped off the map when the Nazis liquidated Eastern European shtetls. His guides are a cranky, anti-semitic grandfather, his deranged Border collie named Sammy Davis Jr. Jr., and his over-enthusiastic grandson, Alex, whose fractured command of English, passion for American pop culture, and constant chatter threaten to make the worst of every situation. But what starts out as the tour from hell turns into a meaningful journey, with an unexpected series of revelations that will change all of their lives.[2]
