Perhaps manipulating variables does not involve making predictable changes due to detection , but just one or two harder to detect and enough to change sequencing.

Daszak is good friends with Wuhan’s Zheng-li-Shi. Daszak attended the Nipah conference, and he has direct knowledge about the viruses of Mojiang, which include heniparviruses. NIH funded Daszak, and they too know that there are eboal- and Marburg-like viruses in that part of Yunnan, let alone SARS-CXoV-2’s closest ancestor. We are yet to see a report concerned with monitoring the viruses of Mojiang County infecting civets, or anything else, which is one of the more absurd things about this communist virus story.

The remarks made by the first team that went in to investigate the origins were quiet clear that “Chinese politics never left the room”. Considering CCP has had ample time to cover up evidence of wrongdoing, intentional or otherwise, it is likely a pipe dream, but I still hold out hope for the second team to uncover a little more. If Chinese politics never left the room that strongly indicates that there were limits to the information that was revealed.

Another poster is absolutely right that no one has actually investigated the lab, but by now current tech might not reveal the origin and details but future technology will have a field day with it. Now, whether or not that eventual discovery will ever reach the public is undetermined. With all of this muted information, hiding information, and outward lying to the public that’s occurring, I personally won’t count on it.
