Most posters here engage in anti-Christ behavior at lease now and again

what, that last post by
R winger?

not even worth my time to comment on... and by the way

Here's another question I have asked... not Jesus, but myself a lot lately

Why is Rightwinger not on Ignore?

:dunno:
You sure beg for criticism.

I'd say better late than never.

You sure beg for criticism.

Not nearly as much as you do and quite frankly, I don't even think that they do at all.

Can you tell us more about this evil that liberals do without realizing it? Preferably without lying about what liberals supposedly believe or do.

I don't have a lord. Why should that matter?

You just wrote that my sin was hating God and ridiculing his word. That is, you're mainly angry that I'm not part of your cult.

Actions aren't your priority, cult membership is. That's why I asked what makes your cult so special, that you can self-define yourself as good and everyone else as evil.
I haven't defined myself as good.. Quite the contrary. So why are you so angry. Missing something?

I will be the first to apologize for sometimes... losing patience, sounding overly snarky (though that S word is rather subjective) and etc...

But I know that one reason I sometimes am guilty of such is that so many other post-ers here are, as well. I mean, it is difficult to be the only one who .. does anything.. When everyone around you is doing such and such... easy to do the same. That's not an excuse, just an explanation.

I told Jesus yesterday that "I don't know what's wrong with me... why I didn't show more patience toward that post-er [though he showed little to yours truly also]."

So anyway, I just wanted to make the point that .. well,

I find much information here at the forum... I find a lot of facts I didn't previously know or consider. I find like-minded people

But I find almost NO charity
I think some entities aren't intended for charity. While I much appreciate the warm smile, friendly greeting, good wishes from a teller at the bank, I don't go to the bank for for warm fuzzies or cordial interaction. And, except maybe in the Coffee Shop and a few other places, I don't come to USMB for that either.

But pleasant is very nice and like Elwood P. Dowd's philosophy:
"Years ago my mother used to say to me, she'd say, "In this world, Elwood, you must be" - she always called me Elwood - "In this world, Elwood, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant." Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. You may quote me."

Jesus was not personally abusive and he could be kind or comforting and quite pleasant. But he didn't mince words either and, while he could be very creative in getting it said, he said what he thought. But he put it into more general terms than targeting an individual for a personal insult:

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cummin, and have neglected the weightier provisions of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others."

To the rich young ruler's question:
"And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."

I can think of no person ever who had his/her heart and mind changed by being called hateful names. All that accomplishes is contempt for the verbal abuser. Having said that, it is sport and entertainment for some here at USMB and probably not intended to inflict hurt or harm.

Still I think good people try take to heart the admonition to not bear false witness and to guard their words so as not to intentionally hurt another. That does not mean we should not say what we believe but we should state what actions/words we object to rather than libel/slander/verbally abuse another.

And I think smart Christians and/or good people do not automatically repeat gossip, libel, slander but take the time to check out the facts so as not to engage in that.

Having said that, we are all human and don't always live up to the ideal we want for ourselves. :)

Suggestion for new forum rules and possible discipline for infractions:

What in the world is Anti-Christ behavior?

It's okay to be righteously angry with people who support the democrat platform...but you've also got to understand that they are victims of the Great Delusion. They can't help it...even if they wanted to.
I'm not buying that. Maybe that is true of YOUNG people but anyone over the age of about 35 has no excuse. they've had plenty of time to realize just how evil the D party is and see all the damage they have inflicted. Of course that assumes they watch real, not fake news..

Anyway, as anyone can see, I have no patience for what I routinely call Stupid... (a refusal to listen to anyone, a refusal to face truth... etc.. etc)

Because Ignore is for Pussies

An anti-christ person, not to be confused with the coming Anti-Christ, is a person who denies the divinity and salvation of Christ, and that person may try to act like they are their own gods meaning they set their own terms of behavior and beliefs for themselves and others in their own little realms of influence. The Actual Anti-Christ is going to be much worse.
now for those of us who sin daily and engage these kinds of people, well...we aren't anti-christ's...we're sinners and in need of repentence and better behavior. Be ready to ask for forgiveness daily.
LOL... Are u saying its a sin to engage these folks (un-Christian people)?

That's the reason right there for lack of christian charity. Shouldn't even be engaging them. It's that Pears before wine thing.
I missed that last sentence for some reason. Thanks to Back Again, I ... went back again... :)

pearls before swine

I have been wondering about that a lot lately... R winger seems rather porcine... LOL

It's also rather difficult for me to hold my tongue towards people who hate me, who hate our country, who hate and disrespect our flag, who hate our rights, want to take them away from us, and cuss us out for trying to defend them.

Lord forgive me, but I just don't have your patience when it comes to dealing with these people. Especially since now they're going after innocent children and abusing them and brainwashing them with their woke agenda. How the fuck am I supposed to respond!? It pisses me off to no end!!! 🤬
don't let the swine get your panties in a bundle... They aren't worth it. Don't get mad, get even... or something

that doesn't sound too Christian but you know... according to the infamous Alinsky, the leftists are to use Christian principles against Christians as a strategy.

So yeh... probably best to not engage if you can avoid it... Some people just want to go to Hell, apparently. Only God can help such folks

I don't hate leftists themselves, I hate what the majority of them stand for because I hate what is evil as I am called to do. Not all of them are like that, but still a lot of them are and come to think of it, doesn't the Bible even mention something about trusting the Lord over the government and not really trusting the government at all?
Yeh... it says

"Even now there are many antichrists in the world"

:)

I believe that....many LITTLE antichrists in the world who encourage evil and tyranny in their own little ponds...but this is my opinion and the opinion of some biblical experts THAT....Satan, not knowing when God is going to spring the end times on us, has to have more than one AntiChrists ready to go over a certain period of time.

I still don’t get this term “anti-Christ.” If it is meant to mean an evil person, OK….but it’s a weird term considering the majority of people in the world don’t believe in Jesus, and many of whom are decent, moral people with good values.

true enough

But I disagree about one thing: I think some do intend to inflict some kind of harm. Those who do not have the love of Christ... well, there's that "default mode"
