More taxes from Trump!

I don't. the economy has an inertia built in. the inflation rate has been going up since tRump's second month in office, and gore inflation turned around even faster.
No it hasn’t, it only went up in June by .3

Why do you lie?

I expet it to go to the 2% benchmark that Joe Biden's administration and [polices had it on tracvk for.

tRump has kinda derailed that track.
Cut the crap. Inflation went out of control under Biden and was nowhere under control. Four years, I heard the same shit from the media and Democrats. There's no inflation.

Only in your mind.
Seems like leftists enjoying watching the same movie over and over. How many times have we heard tariffs are gonna doom us since the day Trump announced tariffs hike?

No it hasn’t….it dropped all the way down to 2.4 in May, and went up .3 points in June and has remained there in July

Why do you lie?

That's the CPI-U which doesn't include many of the products imported from India.

Those tariffs will cause primary and secondary inflation, as the cost is passed on to the consumers.

So India is the only country exporting these items?

Only in your mind.

Study Finds Over 90% of all Generic Drugs Dependent on Imports

The generic drugs Americans take daily are not only made in labs overseas, but 90% of all antiviral and antibiotic medications are reliant on active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) not found in the U.S.

China is the lead supplier of key starting materials used to mix drugs in labs in India that eventually get shipped to the U.S.

China now accounts for 95 percent of imports of ibuprofen, 91 percent of imports of hydrocortisone, 70 percent of imports of acetaminophen, and 40 to 45 percent of imports of penicillin. China’s and India’s dominance of the U.S. generic pharmaceutical supply chain is growing. These two countries account for 85% of filings for new active pharmaceutical ingredients,

it will? ok....maybe, let me know when it happens and provide us with the data.

My last purchase exported from India was granulated garlic. The size will last about two years. I doubt leftists buy much from India anyway.
India produces the majority of generic drugs.
Denmark produces Ozempic and Wegovy, but they're building new plants in N. Carolina to avoid tariffs.

BTW, if you want to avoid the arsenic in long-grained white rice grown in the US, Argentina sells organic white long-grained rice (CA doesn't produce it).

We dont pay the tariffs

Laughing Pointing.webp

Manufacturers must sell or go broke. Consumers dont have to buy. That means prices must come down. Thats called a free market where consumers have the leverage. Read and lesrn after you stop laughing and making a fool out of yourself

The Trump tariffs aren't causing U.S. prices to spike. Here's why.

Despite concerns earlier this year that President Trump's tariffs would cause a renewed bout of inflation, the prices of goods and services across the U.S. have remained relatively stable.

The personal consumption expenditures price index, the Federal Reserve's preferred inflation gauge, rose 2.3% in May, modestly above the central bank's 2% annual target. The May Consumer Price Index rose at an annual rate of 2.4%, cooler than economists expected.

The muted inflation data reflects short-term steps taken by some companies to offset the tariff impact, such as pre-ordering inventory, absorbing the cost of some tariffs to cushion consumers from price hikes, and leveraging loopholes to delay or lower duty payments, economists say.

Additionally, cost increases for parts and other intermediate inputs could take time to work their way through supply chains before they show up in consumer prices.

"Many businesses have been creative and savvy in using different means to buffer the initial shock," EY-Parthenon chief economist Gregory Daco told CBS MoneyWatch.

Tariffs are bringing in record revenues the last couple of months, into the Billions of dollars. We the People should be absolutely concerned and informed as to how this revenue will be spent and applied.

Talks of tariff rebate checks have been offered and talks of reducing our national debt is in the taks. Longterm, what could be the effect as long at the next POTUS, if a democrat, doesn't shut them off immediately because Tariffs were a Trump thing.

Could we reduce drastically or even eliminate federal income tax, subsidize healthcare, etc.,

You want regressive taxation.

You're like the guy who fell from the 100th floor.
As he passed the 50th floor he said there was no problem so far.

Go figure! Since India purchases petroleum products from Russia, Trump has imposed a 50% tax on their imports on the American people. With rampant inflation because of his moronic policies, Trump hits us with more taxes. Anybody who doesn't think this idiot is out to destroy America lives under a rock, or watches Fox News exclusively!

Can't wait for the mid-terms to put the brakes on that dumb ass!

Bigly!!!
Good for him. I just don't understand why democrats would be OK with helping Russia. Didn't you used to be against that?

You guys keep saying I’m gonna fall, you didn’t say a thing for four years when we actually did…and now keep saying it when we aren’t near the windows

Well that's gonna throw a kink into that "cheaper drugs" thing tRump was bragging about.
