Federal judge says Phil Murphy is wrong. Constitution wins again.

Federal judge blocks more of New Jersey's new gun carry law

A federal judge on Monday blocked more of New Jersey’s gun carry law from being enforced, less than a month after she blocked other sections of the newly-enacted law.

The order issued by U.S. District Judge Renée Marie Bumb — an appointee of former President George W. Bush — temporarily lifts the blanket prohibition on carrying guns in public parks, on beaches and in casinos. A prior order Bumb issued earlier this month blocked sections of the law that prohibited guns from being carried in places where alcohol is served, in public libraries or museums, entertainment facilities and on private property where the owner does not give explicit permission. It also blocked restrictions on how guns are carried in vehicles.

Challenges to those provisions of the law, however, are expected to resurface in later phases of the litigation.

“This marks the beginning of the end for Governor Murphy’s blatantly unconstitutional new carry law, which is going down in flames,” Scott Bach, executive director of the Association of New Jersey Rifle & Pistol Clubs, said in a statement. “Murphy has clearly demonstrated that constitutional issues are indeed above his pay grade.”

If I could get a Carry Permit in NJ (or they would reciprocate my California CCW or one from next door Pennsylvania) it would be a game changer for me

I've been to Jersey. The borders should be sealed off and the interstates re-routed. Firearms will not help, they will still talk weird.

Shall not be infringed.
Correct, the only way to keep gun violence and deaths high.

That's why the UK, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany etc.. have guns in public too .....hang on.....no they don't......and they enjoy guns but have low gun violence and deaths. Must be a coincidence, what do you think? Both brain cells please.

UK, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany have either been murdering each other or been victims of countless wars and genocides for hundreds of years. It's only because of guns they they've achieved a relative state of peace now. Guns I might say, that many times we've had to provide them through Lend Lease programs.

Like I said "Shall not be infringed."

Correct, the earth's population has experienced wars over the centuries, and will continue to do so. You can buy the book, "The encyclopedia of wars", that details every single war. But reality is, this thread is about guns in public and not countries going to war. You've inadvertently jumped off the thread topic

Bullshit. A robbery, assault, or murder by a criminal individual is every much an attack on a person's liberty as would be a war or a genocide. Our Constitution guarantees "Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness", which is enforced by the Second Amendment. That same Second Amendment gives me the singular right to shoot a sonofabitch in the face in order to protect the life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness of myself or my family members.

That's the way it is, and that's the way it's going to stay.

And that is why the 2nd Amendment keeps gun deaths and incidents high in America because those who claim to be the "good guys", are the most unsuitable dangerous gun owner. And your post confirms this.

The need/want to own/use/enjoy a gun is for sport/pleasure such as clay pigeon, pheasant shoots, and such things as vermin control like rats and crowd. Someone who wants the gun to shoot others, is the most undesirable gun owner, and the most dangerous member of society.

You confuse "want to shoot" with "forced to shoot"

Now go fuck yourself with an aids infested flaming tire iron.

No confusion on my part, it's a confusion you've come with

You don't see it because you don't want to see it. you are a 1/4 trick pony using the same trick over and over.

Hyperbole and bullshitting can only take you so far, oxygen thief.

Fifty odd years in my life, walking around for work and pleasure, still no need to shoot anyone.

How about you, who forced you to shoot someone and how did they make you do it?

Apparently you Brits can't comprehend the meaning of the Second Amendment. It has nothing to do with sport or rat-control, unless you Limey bastards want to try to colonize us again.

I was almost forced to stab someone when 3 guys mugged me, my brother, and a friend in high school.

The planet knows and understands America's 2nd Amendment, we have never questioned or argued that.

The planet has always argued the role of the gun in a civilised modern society. Only 4 countries in the world have banned guns, no other countries wants to ban guns, countries with gun regulations never use the phrase, "Ban guns". The only people that use's the phrase, "Ban guns" are Americans.

The whole gun debate for gun use in society is both logical and common sense. Regulations are everywhere, and it's effectiveness reduces incidents, injury, and death.

So we all know how logical and common sense regulations are with guns, the stats reflect this. You know this, I know this. But, a gun nut can't say, "I know regulations are common sense, but I can't say that, I can't admit to that, so to try and deflect, to kill the conversation, I'll just scream 2nd Amendment". That's your only get out arguement clause in the gun debate.

The whole planet knows America has the 2nd Amendment, but I can only assume the "Thick as fuck" Americans that keep repeating it just doesn't understand the gun debate.

So in xx years (whatever age you are) once you felt like stabbing someone in a 3 on 3 situation, and you want to carry a gun to kill a son of a bitch. You're pretty fucked up, crazy, and a danger

:laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301:

The colonies contained many nationalities, mainly British, they colonized the America's, invading the Native Indian territory. The colonies got fed up with UK rule and were paranoid with world events. So war broke out, and as the colonies were about to lose, the French stepped in to help the colonies. And if it wasn't for Limeys (sailors who used lime juice to keep scurvy at bay), America would just be full of Indians and Mexicans.

You are such a thicko on your own history, lol. Trying to macho up, but you're simply a pathetic coward.
