Being a Tampa Bay Bucs fan for 36 years, this might be the sloppiest game I've ever seen the Bucs play. Missed field goal, punt blocked, missed tackles on a Texans 50 yard kickoff return. Ugh!
But as it so often it is with Baker Mayfield (just like Tom Brady before him), he had it when he needed it - the final drive.
Touchdown with 6 seconds left in the game. Nail biter.

One thng that the Buc did well was live uo to their reputation as one of the besr runnng defenses in football. Except for a good touchdown run, the Texans were stopped cold on the ground.

Mayfield is an old school QB. It doesn't look pretty but he finds a way to win.

Baker impresses me, he was only 1-7 on MNF before tonight, now he has another dub

Turn out the lights , the party’s over

It was "must see" TV back then! MNF fell off so much, it's on pay cable! It's not that the product has fallen off as much as there are too many alternatives! It was more a show w/ Donny, Howie, & Frankie; later w/ Al, Dan, & OJ! Personally, I didn't care that they went w/ Al, Tony Kornheiser, Suzy Kolber, Michele Tafoya as long as it was a good game! Working nites, it was something to look forward to as background noise getting the job done! I miss those old days; esp. late in the season getting not only TNF, but a Friday Nite game highlited w/ Div. rival! One of the best games was LA RAMS vs. Saints! Flipper Anderson went nuts w/ about 300+ yds. receiving! :p  :omg:

He's been highly regarded over the yrs. by Fox Sports comm. like Skip & Shannon back in the day! They sang his praises on "Undisputed" week after week! :confused:
Okay. LOL

I was making a joke, not passing judgment on his skills. Sorry.

Watchin Earl Campbell run , Lawrence Taylor hit and Jerry Rice catch

I only half pay attn. to comm. these days! At times it makes no sense! It's like how Purdy's done a credible job over the yrs., gotten the 49'rs to the SB, but he's disparaged like no other QB! They give more credit to players like Dax who's done little to nothing for all that money he's been stealing from the "Boys!" The off-season theories & predictions have all fallen on their collective faces as so many good teams are 0-2 w/ tough schedules ahead! :dunno:😕:stir:

Mayfield is a good quarterback. He was a number one pick. Living up to that is questionable though. He resurrected his career after playing for Cleveland. I also believe that when drafted the organization is important where a quarterback goes to. Many of them end up in the dustbins of history due to that.

I got sick of watching the NFL, especially Collinsworth on Sunday night (is that idiot still on?). The PC crap just keeps going. The homo cheerleaders was the last straw. I will sometimes listen to a game on radio, but the whole thing has soured. It's amazing how people vehemently complain, but then tune in religiously week after week.
