It’s pretty fucking obvious these cloth masks aren’t doing shit. It's much better that people die than know the truth because free-dumb
Mask mandates saved lives and prevented COVID-19 infections in Missouri’s biggest cities during the worst part of the delta variant wave, an analysis by the state Department of Health and Senior Services shows. But the analysis, conducted at the request of Gov. Mike Parson’s office in early November, was never made public and was only obtained by The Missouri Independent and the Documenting COVID-19 project after a Sunshine Law request to the department. The study compared infection and death rates in St. Louis, St. Louis County, Kansas City and Jackson County with the rest of the state. New state health Director Donald Kauerauf wrote in an email that the study’s findings showed the effectiveness of mask mandates and forwarded it to Parson’s office. The analysis wasn’t included in material the department prepared for cabinet meetings, the emails show. Neither the health department nor Parson’s office responded to requests for comment asking why the data has not been shared publicly.
Missouri health department found mask mandates work, but didn’t make findings public
Jurisdictions with mask mandates averaged 15.8 cases per day for every 100,000 residents, compared to 21.7 in unmasked communities.news.stlpublicradio.org

I wish we had Missouri's numbers.And only 20 infections?
By the way Mo is getting slammed by the virus
Because the masks didn’t actually do shit.Governor Parsons refused to release a report showing that masked mandates slow the spread of covid during the surge.
Republicans will do anything to "keep the faith". Up to and including murdering their own constituents.
The mask mandates did NOT save lives, otherwise, people wouldn't have kept dying.
Who did the report? Moe, Curly, and Larry?
The idea that the science, making it clear that masks don't work, but that we should force people to use them and then promote phoney studies tailored to fit our narrative, does no one any good. The idea that if anyone dies, no lives have been saved is asinine, regardless of whether or not the mask mandates did any good.

Yes. But their lives are not being saved through the use of masks. Social distancing works if you manage to stay in your own home, so there is that.Perhaps, but it remains true that people can be dying and lives can be saved at the same time.

Pretty much the thread.Bull fucking shit.
You Nazi clowns are something else.
The idea that lives were saved by masks is beyond asinine, and utterly unproven. The idea that if anyone dies, no lives have been saved is asinine, regardless of whether or not the mask mandates did any good.
Well now hold on!The idea that the science, making it clear that masks don't work, but that we should force people to use them and then promote phoney studies tailored to fit our narrative, does no one any good.

300 dead per day?I wish we had Missouri's numbers.
They're nothing but a bunch of whning reactionaries with a big mouth. Useless, just like their orange blundering god.Republicans are comprehensively dishonest – they’re incapable of sound, responsible governance.
Indeed, they have nothing but contempt for sound, responsible governance.
I was looking at the 7 day averages on USA Facts and keying on the death number shown. Missouri showing on that page dated yesterday 7 day death average 15 compared to Tennessee 32.
The right’s unwarranted opposition to the infrastructure bill is more evidence that Republicans have nothing but contempt for sound, responsible governance.can you clarify that jones?....
