Who actually interpreted the data? The mask mandates in the LARGE cities came in at the PEAK. The graph below shows the state of MO. at that time. If you look at ANY STATE and the PROGRESSION of each of the 3 peaks we've had -- the WAVE SPREADS from dense urban areas OUTWARDS.

So if it was raging ALL the way to the PEAK in St. Louis BEFORE the mandates -- you likely are comparing the DOWNSIDE of that wave in St. Louis to the more rural counties that had not EVEN REACH their peaks.

I'm truly skeptical about the MEDIA coming to these conclusions based on the RAW data. It's never that EASY to prove a statistic like that without DEEP analysis of the actual numbers. The ONLY THING REPORTED here is the AVERAGE case/day from the peak to the end. Not an indication that BOTH areas PEAKED at the same time.

Taz you aree talking about the Bangladesh study while posted it from a Kansas Study...

Taz the Berkley guy wanted more and more information and was even saying the mask study couldn't be done blind. I think he was picking holes in the study but he was just trying to say that the study could have been better and more research should be done... He never said Masks don't work and the study does show a 9.3% less cases where 29% more mask use was observed... Statistically this is not a certainty but the smart money is pointing in one direction, we don't have time to let people die while we get a spot perfect study put together...
