I doubt if they even bothered to read it. Otherwise, it would have been sent to a committee whom would haven rewritten it, approved in in committee and sent the revised version back to the house. No, that never happened. Instead, a big read NO was stamped on it by Moscow Mitch the second it hit his desk and it went to the bottom of the "NO" file. But the Administration seems to have gotten more than 1.3 trillion trimmed from the original House bill before Baby Donnie went on his tantrum routine. I'll say it again, Baby Donnie wasn't the worst single person in DC, that prize goes, hands down, to Moscow Mitch. Stop making excuses for Moscow Mitch being the REAL Dictator in Washington. Baby Donny should take lessons from him.
So Republicans should agree to a bill that funds the Arts, nationally eliminates voter ID to vote, force all states to accept absentee ballots for 10 days after the election so Democrats have a new avenue to cheat, 225 billion to pay teachers to stay home and very little to spend on improving air quality in the schools, 417 billion to state and local Democrat areas that have overspent for many years with no oversight of the money, 120 billion for restaurants mostly focused on minority and female owned businesses? That's right, if you are a white guy who owns a restaurant, you might not get any money at all while your minority owned competitor gets help thus putting you out of business.

Give us a link to that one.
I cant find a link to $2 trillion

the highest I can find is $1 trillion

which makes me happy to have been wrong

we do not need to add $2 trillion to the national debt when all that is required is to open up the economy and end the lockdowns
The 1 trillion wasn't from Moscow Mitch. That was from Mnuchin and the House's last counter was 1.2 trillion. Just before the election the House and the Adminstration were very close to a behind doors agreement. Who wasn't present? The Senate. The Senate (meaning Moscow Mitch) has a big nasty stamp of NO and already had given a 500 mil that both other sides called as completely unreasonable so the House and the Admin didn't invite them to the negotiations at all. Then the Election and we no longer had an Administration or President to conduct day to day business with.
Why should we spend even $500 billion more of borrowed money?

Because democrat mayors and governors FORCE citizens to sit at home instead of working

The Republicans gave in by allowing a federal unemployment extension, and even agreed to an additional 200 bucks a week on top of state unemployment checks. Piglosi still won't budge.

As I said. A bill filled with pork. I guess we can all see what Pelousy and her Dem House think of Americans getting a Chinese virus stimulus check.

Good for the Senate. I wouldn't sign that POS either.

It's been 192 days since the House passed the $3 trillion HEROES Act, and 56 days since the House passed their compromise $2.2 trillion bill, both of which Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has refused to take up. McConnell sent his Republican Senate on Thanksgiving vacation last Thursday, after having spent the post-election week confirming unqualified Trump judges.

The one Trump administration official who at one point seemed to give a damn, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, has reverted to Republican form. He's sabotaging the economy right alongside his boss, cutting off emergency lending programs administered by Treasury and the Federal Reserve and trying to claw back uncommitted funds. To be an even bigger dick, Mnuchin is going to put the $455 billion he's clawing back into the General Fund, requiring future Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen to get congressional authorization to use it.

Two months. The adults are on their way.
How many people go bankrupt, lose their businesses, or even their homes in that two months?

This is purely sabotage, and these animals need to be prosecuted for it.

It looks pretty fucking blatant, no doubt about it.

The bill should be exclusive to the virus, and no, undocumented people here should not get any 1,200 dollar checks either like Nancy wants. They want to take care of their Democrat cities and states, plus their union buddies in the Post Office and schools because those unions contribute big time to the Democrat party come election time. Could you imagine if a Republican House passed a bill giving money to the NRA or Salem communications?

This should have been done years ago. Does it really do anything but show an administration throwing a hissy fit? No, because the Federal Reserve will still do what it wants come January.

It doesn't count if you do something on your way out.
Getting rid of the Federal Reserve you say? Giving the Fiat Currency to the people instead of a private concern? A private concern that backs globalism?

I've long supported getting rid of the Federal Reserve.

Correct, they should be. Lock up every Democrat politician that didn't agree to the Senate bill adjustments.

$2.2 Trillion is not a compromise just because queen Nan has annointed it. It probably has a 1:1 ratio of Pork-Stimulus.

The CCP/DNC Lockdown sabotaged the economy. CCP/DNC policies made NYC look like it was hit by a neutron bomb, the buildings stand, the people and businesses are gone

Oh and fuck you!

No more stimulus.

Open the businesses back up.

Democrats have destroyed enough jobs.
With the rise in Covid 19 deaths, we should just open it all up, right? And wait for herd immunity, right? At what point are you going to change your mind? Is it when we exceed the total death count in 18 months that it took us 4 years to reach for WWII? Or are you going for a record to exceed the Civil War Dead.
What rise in deaths? There are more cases but the hospitals are having a normal flu season

And stack the corpses like cordwood?

What are we going to do when we run out of medical space, equipment and personnel?

The "Heroes Act" is jammed full of pork to bail out Libnut Cities and states for their years of fiscal mismanagement. It needs to be shitcanned.
That pork is to pay the police, fire and emergency medical personnel.

I don't know what state you live in, but it's obviously next to Trump, living in a state of denial.
