2.2 trillion comes out to over 7,000 per PERSON in the nation. Every man, woman and child. That would be over 20k for the average family. However, we will see but a tiny fraction of that. Why?
I never thought of that

where is the pelosi helicopter money going?

... trying to claw back uncommitted funds....
Yes. Uncommitted funds are to be returned.
... $455 billion he's clawing back into the General Fund, requiring ... congressional authorization to use it...
You mean the Administration needs CONGRESSIONAL authorization to spend money? It's only been this way since the framing, over 230 years ago, so, I'm not sure why you are giving us the shocked act.
...McConnell isn’t going to be able to sell hismy way or the highway compromise much longer.
Fake News. Without the Senate's sign-off, the Administration gets nothing. Congress holds the nation's purse, how is it that you are ignorant of this?

Article 1 describes CONGRESSIONAL powers:

“No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law; and a regular Statement and Account of the Receipts and Expenditures of all public Money shall be published from time to time.”

— U.S. Constitution, Article I, section 9, clause 7

Article 2 describes Administration Authority, and guess what? The Administration has NO SUCH power. The Administration requires CONGRESSIONAL authorization, just as it has since 1788. Weird that you folks are completely ignorant of this.

Read this, commit it to your mind and heart, repeat it to your children and grandchildren.

This is OUR Country
This is OUR Money.
OUR representatives in CONGRESS give specific expenditure grants to the Administration.
You don't get to just take and use OUR money because you yell kick scream and claim that if we don't promptly give you the money that it makes you feel "unsafe".

But, by all means berate McConnell, because he's certainly demonstrated to be a pushover to such antics.... NOT!

Should we figure on the next 4 years of the illegitimate Biden Administration, being 4 years of whining and screaming because you think you get what you want by throwing tantrums rather than what the Constitutionally regulated system provides, through collaborative efforts, of which, McConnell holds a critical role?

It's been 192 days since the House passed the $3 trillion HEROES Act, and 56 days since the House passed their compromise $2.2 trillion bill, both of which Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has refused to take up. McConnell sent his Republican Senate on Thanksgiving vacation last Thursday, after having spent the post-election week confirming unqualified Trump judges.

The one Trump administration official who at one point seemed to give a damn, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, has reverted to Republican form. He's sabotaging the economy right alongside his boss, cutting off emergency lending programs administered by Treasury and the Federal Reserve and trying to claw back uncommitted funds. To be an even bigger dick, Mnuchin is going to put the $455 billion he's clawing back into the General Fund, requiring future Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen to get congressional authorization to use it.

McConnell is offering $2 billion and pelosi says no
Give us a link to that one.
Yawn. Put your non partisan pants on Boi.

Nancy Pelosi blasts the White House's $1.8 trillion stimulus offer and lists 8 areas with 'deficiencies'
Old news. The final was the House at 1.2 trillion and Mnnuchin at 1 trillion and no word from the Senate. This was just before the election. Had there been no elections, the Administration and the House could have easily come to an agreement. But meanwhile, that so called vote by the Senate never happened. And Moscow Mitch was unavailable for the negotiations that the House and the Administration were doing. So we won't get any help until after Jan 20th, or at least until after Jan 3rd if Moscow Mitch gets replaced as Majority Leader. While I don't wish for the Reps to lose control of the Senate, I do want Moscow Mitch gone as Majority Leader. If it means 2 years of Dem Control then the Party of the Rump brought this blight onto all our heads.
Piglosi had no intention of coming to an agreement. That's why she larded her position down with poison pills

You were proven wrong(again) all poor Nancy had to do was cut the bailouts for the cities who let the Prog Pigs destroy them. Not my responsibility to rebuild a city that ignorant people trashed.
